Teen Volunteer Program

We invite teens (ages 15 to 17) to participate in a rewarding and worthwhile volunteer experience as this program provides a special opportunity to engage teens who are interested in gaining experience being in a pediatric health care environment.

Teens that are accepted into the program are placed in a variety of areas throughout the hospital under supervision of Children’s staff. Teen assignments vary from outpatient and inpatient activity carts, hospitality/greeters, patient transport, Sibling Center, Physical and Occupational Therapy and Family Resource Center/Library.

The Teen Volunteer Program is very popular and often there are more applicants than available openings. Please keep in mind, due to a large number of applications and many teens that return to the program from previous years, there are usually limited openings each year. We encourage teen applicants to submit their applications early and be thoughtful in the completion of all application materials.
