Research Interests

Dr. Bogen;s research interests include:

  • Understanding the relationships between maternal behavioral health and infant growth, behavior, and development in order to optimize outcomes
  • Promotion of optimal early childhood nutrition, including breastfeeding, child led feeding, and the use of pasteurized donor breastmilk
  • Evaluations of family-based interventions to improve family health and wellness ; especially among families impacted by substance use disorder.
  • Medical education in the newborn nursery, breastfeeding and well child care
