The Dr was amazing
Everyone working in this office was kind and helpful. Dr. Thakkar is so sweet and made sure to go over any questions I had. Great experience at this office, I would recommend highly!
Provider is excellent. Good rapport with the daughter. We feel very comfortable with her and can talk and discuss concerns.
Simply put, Dr. Thakkar is a wonderful physician! She was very good with our son which made him very comfortable. She did an excellent job explaining the medical problem our son is experiencing. This is a very new condition to us and Dr. Thakkar took the time to explain the very basics to us. She did not talk over our heads and she did it in a way that we didn't have to feel silly for asking the basic questions about the condition. She was very thorough with her exam and I felt as if she truly cared about our son's well-being. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with her knowledge, thoroughness and compassion.
Dr thakkar is always caring and empathetic. she is always concerned and is patient with all of our questions. she genuinely cares about my sons health and well being. I will always recommend her to all friends and family for care. This facility is very lucky to have her expertise.
Dr was very through. After my questions she asked if I had even more. Also genuinely seemed to care for my son's health and gave me resources to help.
So far all the doctors we have seen have been helpful and nice.
Dr. Thakkar answered Daniel's many questions and listened to his comments very respectfully - made him feel very relaxed
This was our first appointment with Dr. Thakkar. I found her to be concerned, thorough and knowledgeable. She was very good with our child and I'm looking forward to her involvement with our son's care.
they were all very professional and courteous.
The doctor is wonderful
these questions about the nurse or assistant don't apply mostly . my biggest concern is the way I am made to feel if I ask questions or address concerns. the dr is quick to assume what I am saying and seeking and it's never what I want to say or ask . if I continue to try and honestly address my concerns the dr quickly shuts me down . dr does not take adequate time with the patient to make us parents feel heard .
this was our first visit and I thought the dr & staff were wonderful! I would definetly recommend to other people
Everyone we encountered during our visit was kind, courteous, friendly and respectful. We travel quite a distance for the care and concern we always receive at Children's Hospital. I would not take my child anywhere else, and always recommend UPMC and Children's Hospital to anyone and everyone with health issues. We appreciate all the staff! Thank you seems like such a small word but it is all I have to offer and my gratitude.
everyone and everything was great!
I am very pleased with Dr. Thakkar. I felt like she studied my child's records before she addressed my daughters health issues. She was very engaging towards my daughter and I felt like she truly cared about the welfare of my child.
I really like her she remembered my son after weeks of not seeing him
Dr. Thakkar did an amazing job of ordering tests to quickly evaluate my son.
physician was wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a neurologist!
This was our first visit relating to our daughter's seizures. The information and explanations provided to us were easy to understand.
