Dr. Drexler is extremely knowledgeable about his profession. I am confident this knowledge will benefit my eye health now and in the future.
Dr. Drexler is excellent- would highly recommend him.
Dr. Drexler is consistently thoughtful and kind during any eye examination. He shows great concern about the patient and repeatedly asks if there is anything else he can answer or explain again if needed.
Always a pleasurable experience with this physician and the support staff. This is a very efficient office considering how small the facility is in size.
great office and great office staff very helpful
This was not a routine visit -- I called because I needed Dr. Drexler's advice on my current medical experience and his office did not have an open appointment. I agreed to speak with a nurse, explained my concerns and why it was an immediate need to see the doctor, but not yet an emergency room issue. After consulting with the doctor, she and staff managed to squeeze me into his already full schedule. Even so, the appointment was NOT rushed and every effort by all staff as well as the doctor, was made to confirm that I understood what is happening and how to handle things should a true emergency arise. I left the office feeling heard, respected and confident in place of the anxiety I arrived with.
dr zdrexler and his office provide excellent care.
wasn't comfortable waiting for over an hour to be seen by my opthamologist. and the radio station being piped in (a so-called classic soft rock station)'s music made the wait exponentially dreadful.
Dr. Drexler's clinical assistant discovered that both pairs of prescription eyeglasses I had purchased from non UPMC provider had been manufactured incorrectly and were the cause of my difficulty seeing. she was superb! Dr. Drexler rechecked ny vision while I was there and is always very thorough and nice.
always very good care provider
Dr. Drexler is excellent! He took his time and thoroughly answered all of my questions. He really showed me that he knows his stuff and made me feel confident in his decisions. He very caring and easy to talk to!
Excellent service, friendly, very knowledgeable.
Dr. Drexler and his staff are very professional.
very kind staff. Dr. was cordial and complete in his explanations.
Dr Drexel is always professional, detail oriented, and listens to my concerns.
very informative about my health and my eyes
good experience the whole way around
i really like and trust staff and provider.
Dr. Drexler is the best. He took time with me, answered my questions, and I left the appointment feeling good which is such a gift.
I seen Dr. Drexler for my yearly eye exam.
I heard that Dr. Drexler was the specialist to consult for complex issues with contact lenses. I have had 4 visits with him so far, and every time I am impressed with his care. He is thorough, easy to talk to, and frankly -- the best eye doctor I have ever met.
very professional, and explained issues clearly,
top notch as usual
always a positive experience at Dr. Drexler's office
A very good experience. Treated with dignity and respect
Dr. Drexler was very pleasant to deal with and showed me that he cared about my issues. His medical knowledge and experience is truly excellent. I highly recommend this doctor.
Overall my experience was really great at this visit.
Great experience. Dr. Drexler finally gave me options to see better. I now am both near and far sighted and started to feel like I wasn't ever going to see well again. I am loving my new contacts.
dr. Drexler and his tech are top notch.
Provider is always courteous and professional. I returned for a problem with new glasses and was treated very well by the doctor and assistant.
My son is disabled since birth. Everyone from the receptionist >Nursing Staff > Doctor were very gentle and sensitive to my Son's need and very patient to our needs.
Dr. Drexler is first of all extremely knowledgeable and meticulous in his care. As a patient, I leave thinking that I have experienced the best available care, he is very well informed about the condition of my eyes.
The care is excellent. My only concern was that my entire visit was for nearly 2 hours (for an eye exam and new prescription). I thought I had to wait too long before seeing the physician after completing the first phase of the visit with the assistant who completed the initial evaluation.
Dr. Drexler was very kind, informative, respectful, and a great listener.
I think Dr. Drexler, Amanda and the receptionist (don't know her name) are top notch!
fantastic visit, love this office!
I feel vry comfortable comng here...Like Dr. Drexler A lot......
Dr Drexler is great but a big shout out to the tech that performed the exam and the front desk they are fantastic
I am so happy that Dr. Drexel has taken care of my eye sight.
Everything was great except this questionnaire which is too long
Dr. Drexler is so kind, not rushed, and 100% focused on you and your appointment. I understand why the wait for an appointment is so long.
I am very satisfied with the care I got. Dr. Drexler was empathic when discussing the progression of my cataracts. He was thorough in his explanation about the need for surgery. He gave appropriate information about the surgeon he was referring me to.
I was late for 10 minutes and called in for a heads-up, they were so nice accommodate it. The doctor is very informative, enthusiastic and professional. He earned much of my trust and respect over one conversation.
Dr. Drexler is superb : )
Dr. Drexler spent sufficient time with me and answered all of my questions.
The staff was professional, from receptionists to the doctor's aide to the doctor himself. They are also friendly, which I appreciate. I have no complaints whatsoever.
Everyone was very pleasant (with all patients) and explained everything
It's not about the care provider but the time it took to be seen. My appointment for 11:50 AM and I didn't get seen until about 1:20 PM. The staff was very nice when I asked how much longer before I would be seen and got me in to see the Dr. as soon as possible. Also the Dr. was very nice and apologized for the wait. This is very unusual to have this happen in the past I get into see the Dr. in about 15 mins.
Dr. Drexler's attention to detail is valued by this patient. My eyes will be healthy and happy in their new contacts!
All went smoothly. Good Team.
The doctor had completely reviewed my medical record at least in regard to my eye care including previous visits and cataract surgery and was wonderful about taking time to answer my questions. He seemed to remember me and appeared to be on top of my eye issues and thus made me feel very comfortable.
Very good at examination and telling me results.
Great provider, great nurse - woman at front desk needs to learn to say 'please' and 'thank you'. She can be abrupt, doesn't smile, isn't terribly friendly. Also, a gentleman with walker came in while I was checking out. Instead of going down to help him she and the other man in the office told him to come to the desk to check in. He couldn't get his walker up the stairs, and may not have seen the long handicapped walk way, so he parked his walker and slowly and carefully climed the stairs and walked to the desk while hanging onto the handrail and wall. I have to believe that there is some way the receptionist could have gone down to him to help him check in.
I hadn't been here before; Dr. Drexler addressed something that my previous doctor never had, and explained where the problem came from and how it worked and what the new lens would do to correct it, which was great--it's easier to manage something when I'm informed about it.
Doctor Dexler and his nurse Amanda are amazing and helpful! I tell everyone i know to get care in this facility! i hate driving 2 1/2 hrs but its worth the amazing care and treatment my daughter receives for her eye issues! We love the staff!
This was my first visit to this provider and I was very impressed! Everyone was kind and professional and I left feeling like a valued customer. I will most definitely return for future services and pass on recommendations those those I know who are looking for a new eye care provider. Thank you!
Way too long of a wait (30 minutes) before I was seen.
