Each child for whom epilepsy surgery is a consideration is discussed at a multidisciplinary conference where specialists from Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, and Neuropsychology review all clinical and imaging data and decide on a treatment plan that will provide the most benefit for the child.
