Children's Hospital is part of the UPMC family.
Confident Kids is a program to help teenagers interact with others appropriately in school and other social settings by improving cognitive processes in areas like attention, problem solving, verbal reasoning, and organizational skills. The program is offered by the Center for Independence at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Professionals from Behavioral Health, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology will work with participants in the program.
Children who need assistance in building organizational skills in order to interact and communicate more effectively with others.
