The Technology Assisted Children's Home Program (TACHP) supports families caring for a child at home who has technology-assisted needs.
“Technology assisted” refers to the use of a medical device to support or replace a vital body function.

We offer TACHP free to qualified families through UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. The Pa. Department of Health funds the program.
The TACHP team consists of a nurse coordinator, occupational therapist, and social workers. They work with nurses, respiratory therapists, and others to provide the best care possible for children with technology-assisted needs.
