Francis Amrit Gandhi, PhD, completed his graduate studies at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, where he looked at the evolutionary covariance of aging, immunity and stress tolerance among the Caenorhabditis species. Now, bitten by the aging bug he hopes to unravel factors that will contribute towards a better understanding of the molecular basis of aging.
Francis is a recipient of a Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, Research Advisory Committee, post-doctoral fellowship as well as multiple awards for his poster and data presentations.
