Suneeta Madan-Khetarpal, MD, is a co-investigator on all clinical trial projects for which Gerard Vockley, MD, is the principal investigator. She is also a co-investigator on a National Institutes of Health R01 study with Zsolt Urban, PhD, of the University of Pittsburgh Department of Human Genetics in the Graduate School of Public Health, examining genetic disorders of the extracellular matrix. Dr. Madan-Khetarpal is also working on microarrays and congenital heart defects in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. This study has defined the use of microarrays in CICU patients as standard of care.
