Damara Ortiz, MD, is a co-investigator of natural history project detailing the neurodevelopmental manifestations of 3-methylcrotonyl CoA carboxylase deficiency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, Children’s Hospital of Denver and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. She is also investigating the role of a bicoid homeobox factor in tibial hemimelia at Icahn School of Medicine of Mount Sinai with Bryn Webb, MD.
