
Ricardo A. Muñoz, MD, FAAP, FCCM
Cardiac Intensive Care
Ricardo Muñoz, MD, is chief of the Cardiac Intensive Care Division and director of the Cardiac
Recovery Program. Dr. Munoz trained in pediatric critical care and pediatric
cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Childrens Hospital of Boston/Harvard
Medical School. A fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the Society of Critical
Care Medicine, he attended medical school at the Universidad del Notre, Barranquilla,
Colombia, and completed his residency at the Hospital Militar Central, Bogota,
Colombia. He also completed fellowships at Childrens Hospital and Massachusetts
General Hospital, both in Boston.
