Constantinos Chrysostomou, MD, joins the faculty in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit after completing fellowships in pediatric cardiology and pediatric cardiac intensive care at Children's. A native of Cyprus, Dr. Chrysostomou co-founded the first dobutamine stress echocardiography lab in that country, at Paphos General Hospital. His current research interests include the use of novel sedative agents after cardiac surgery and the use of EPR spectroscopy in measuring nitric oxide bound hemoglobin in patients with pulmonary hypertension after cardiopulmonary bypass. | |
