Hilary Feldman, PhD, is a Pennsylvania licensed psychologist in
the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics / Child Development
Unit (CDU) at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. Dr. Feldman
has worked at Children's Hospital since 1981 and has been a staff
member in the Child Development Unit for over 20 years.
As a psychologist, Dr. Feldman is an integral member of a group
of specialists in the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics
/ CDU. This group of specialists includes developmental/behavioral
pediatricians, nurse practitioners, psychologists, behavioral consultants,
and trainees. Dr. Feldman provides clinical assessments of children
with developmental and behavioral difficulties. She works with children
who have a wide spectrum of problems and performs diagnostic assessments
which help to determine what services are appropriate for the child
and family.
Dr. Feldman works with specialty services within Children's Hospital,
such as Neurology, Oncology/Hematology, and Genetics, in order to
help to understand the behavioral and learning implications of children
who have specific underlying medical diagnoses. She is able to provide
neuropsychological assessment of children with underlying medical
disorders in order to help physicians address specific concerns
and to help make recommendations to parents, schools, and physicians.
