Members of the center's multidisciplinary team include specialists in the following fields:
Team members are available during the patients appointment to maximize the efficiency of the patients evaluation and to facilitate collaboration among the different specialists. Patients with injuries to the brachial plexus and peripheral nerves benefit from this approach by receiving comprehensive medical, surgical and psychosocial information throughout their ongoing evaluation. Referral RequirementsReferrals are required from primary care physicians or other Childrens Hospital specialty services. Referrals for patients enrolled in managed care insurance plans also may require authorization from the insurance provider and primary care physician.
