Taming Your Toddler

Learn how to manage your growing toddler.

Taming Your Toddler is a Children’s Community Education class offered to parents of children ages one to three years old. By attending the class, parents will learn effective strategies for handling this often difficult phase of your child’s development. The class provides parents with an interactive, hands-on approach to learn basic elements of child development, how to better respond to children’s behaviors, how to prevent challenging behaviors and how to use positive ways to discipline.

This class is adapted from the ACT Raising Safe Kids Program, an American Psychological Association Program in collaboration with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services.
