What is the orientation process for new hires and nursing graduates?
Orientation for all employees is held every Monday and is divided into two parts. During the New Employee First Day Orientation session, employees are given their ID badge and introduced to Human Resource policies and procedures. They are also provided a thorough presentation on benefits, parking and payroll.
The second orientation provided to all new employees is called the Monthly New Employee Orientation, which is held on the first Monday of every month. During this half-day session, all employees are given presentations by hospital departments including: Security, Risk & Compliance, Foundation, Fire & Safety, Employee Health Services and Child Life.
