Biography

Arvind Srinath's research focuses on subspecialty medical education, pediatric gastroenterology curriculum development, and functional GI disorders.

  • A multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, safety and efficacy study of a range of linaclotide doses administered orally to children ages 7 to 17 years who have IBS with constipation (i.e., Fulfill Rome III Criteria for Child/Adolescent IBS and Fulfill Modified Rome III Criteria for Child/Adolescent Functional Constipation)
  • A phase III, multicenter, long-term, safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics study of lubiprostone in pediatric subjects aged greater than or equal to 6 years to less than 18 years who have functional constipation
  • Impact of a nurse practitioner-led teaching program on a patient and caregiver knowledge of pediatric IBD, NASPGHAN/Association for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Nurses, Susan Moyer 2017 Nursing Research Grant (co-principal investigator)
