We had to wait over an hour to be seen.
she spent a lot of time with us.
Good first visit, happy with experience
Good first visit, happy with experience and feel child will be well cared for going forward
Dr. Gurtunca was as always very helpful in answering our questions.
Our experience was good. His appointment was just yesterday so it's too early for test results.
We travel almost 2 hours for these appointments and arrived well in advanced to my daughter's appointment time. Front office staff was super friendly and quick to room my daughter. Time spent with the provider was adequate for there were no major concerns or changes that needed to be made to her medication. We are thankful staff saw her ahead of appointment time. In addition, it was great to be able to schedule her follow up appointment this visit; unlike last time. (Last time her father was told to call and schedule and sent out the door).
Doctor has been very informative with my sons condition
I feel that the doctor doesn't care enough about my daughter's blood sugar being high for 6 months now. All she wants to do is make us feel like we aren't doing something right. She made my daughter feel like crap because she estimated a high about of carbs for a meal so she wouldn't go low. She said since that happened she isn't making any insulin adjustments sms printed her out a paper about counting carbs like my daughter is stupid.
the doctor was nice, very professional, approachable .
Dr. Gurtunca always takes her times when reviewing my daughter's medical history. She explains my daughter's conditions in terms that I can understand. She has called us at night/after hours to see how she is doing. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!
I accidentally went to main Children's and was supposed to be in Bridgeville. She saw me even though we missed our appointment. I was very glad that we didn't have to reschedule.
physicians assistant or nurse practioner that worked with me was one of the best I've ever dealt with. she deserves a raise everyone should be like her
we are very confident in our endochronologist physician.
she is very respectful to me and my children.
Dr. Gurtanca is always top notch.
This provider is fantastic and we are so grateful to have her.
I'm not happy with our experience with this practice.I feel as if my daughter's health is not of main concern. she is 15 years old diagnosed with Graves Disease 10months ago and she feels worse now than when originally diagnosed.
She is outstanding! She is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of my daughters diabetic needs.
the doctor explained everything about my child's health throughly.
very good service
everyone was attentive and curteous
Great Doctor! - Wait time was not good, but that is because I work and needed to get back to office.
we waited 1hour and 15 minutes to be seen. wait time was too long for a scheduled appointment
We were very comfortable and pleased with the doctor
The doctor we saw was very knowledgeable. She was able to explain to us exactly what will occur with my son's condition.
I was surprised by how quickly they processed the x-rays and Dr. Gurtunca called back herself to leave a message with the results within a few hours. I believe our appointment with her was at 9, then we went downstairs for x-rays around 10:15, by 12:30 she called.
I always have a pleasant experience coming to Children's North for my son's care. Dr. Gurtunca is an excellent pediatric endocrinologist. She listens and answers any questions I have. She actively asks questions and is sincere. She is always very prompt in calling regarding lab results. She explains rationale for the medication dosages in relation to the lab results.
Well done !!!
My only complaint is that the doctor still hasn't gave me her results/diagnosis on the recent blood work and I have called twice.
The doctor was very thorough. She was patient and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends.
we had an 8:00am appointment. we wanted in the exam room for exactly an hour. When the Doctor finally showed up there was no apology for being late. what would have happened if I were an hour late to the appointment?
very pleased with the care we receive
All staff including the physician were respectful, provided information clearly, and were easy to speak with. They spent ample time for questions and answers and assured understanding.
as always they have done a great job
