The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine offers an ACGME-accredited fellowship. We are located in Pittsburgh, one of the country's most livable cities. Our program offers 3 years of training to physicians who have completed US residencies in pediatrics and 2-3 years of training to physicians who have completed US residencies in internal medicine, medicine-pediatrics, and family medicine. The mission of our fellowship is to train the adolescent medicine leaders for the future.
Our program trains fellows to become:
- Inpatient and outpatient consultative care
- Care for the underserved (system-based youth and youth in housing crisis, mobile van services)
- Juvenile justice
- College Health
- Transition Services
- Reproductive Health
