Children's Hospital is part of the UPMC family.
Welcome to Pittsburgh! Pittsburgh has something for everyone. Generations of residents have found their way to many of the fun and exciting venues that Pittsburgh has to offer. We polled our current residents and got their recommendations on what to do, where to eat, and cool places to visit. To see what the city has to offer, read our Resident Recommendations (PDF).
Additional helpful information is provided below.
Neighborhoods that former residents recommend include Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, Friendship, Point Breeze, Regent Square, Edgewood, Bloomfield,, Lawrenceville, Oakland, The Strip District, and Downtown. These are all in close proximity to the hospital with a 5-10 minute driving commute. Some residents also choose to live in the North Hills or South Hills if you want a larger home or larger yard.
