Children's Hospital is part of the UPMC family.
Additional work on several projects is in the process of being developed for publication, including one on the evolution of snoRNAs from the Prader-Willi syndrome domain and ancestral sequences and another on the identification of a novel transcriptional regulator of the mammalian circadian system. An additional ongoing collaboration with Quasar S. Padiath, PhD, of the Department of Human Genetics, University of Pittsburgh, is examining novel transcriptional regulatory mechanisms for circadian rhythms in Drosophila, focusing on mechanisms that regulate the Clock gene. Another ongoing project is assessing the role and translational mechanisms in expression of the SNURF-SmN operon in PWS and the function of SNURF, putatively as a ubiquitin-like molecule.
