takes medical concerns seriously and listens carefully to my needs
very nice doctor very understanding very friendly great doctor very educated
I felt like Dr. Sufrinko didn't listen to me as a parent and was more concerned about what my son's school thought than what I was telling her about him and his functioning so I was dissapointed in this. I don't think that she is a bad clinician and I'm sure is well qualified, but I think it would be beneficial to listen to the parent who is with the child nearly 24/7. I also know that a lot of emphasis is put on the test results and while as a clinician myself, I understand the importance of objective measures, I also understand the benefits of listening to the people to who we care for.
I thought that Dr. Sufrinko and her fellow Josephine were both absolutely outstanding. While I mostly spoke with Josephine whom was amazing and actually listened to how I have been feeling and answered all of my questions, Dr. Sufrinko and Josephine were both very kind and also listened to and provided me answers to all my concerns.
this was a final follow up for a severe concussion i had. Dr Sufrinko was awesome to work with. She listens, shes kind and i feel genuinely enjoys what she does and truly cares for her patients. She is thorough, concise and explains things in a way that us non-medical folks can understand. I would highly reccomend not only Dr. Sufrinko but the enitre UPMC sports medicine to anyone with a concussion. AGH has no idea how to work with and treat a closed head injury and they messed me up, UPMC got me healthy again
Everything was great
Alicia was awesome, she obviously took the time to look at my chart before she came in the room which is always nice. She was very knowledgeable about the subject and I felt confident in everything she told me. I would definitely recommend her to others.
I will keep the provider and tell others about UPMC,They showed compassion and concern for my family.
great care and compassion
My only issue with my visit is that Dr. Sufrinko herself was pretty much entirely hands off. Her fellow handled the majority of the appointment, with Dr. Sufrinko only introducing herself as she was handing me my paperwork and telling me about a follow up appointment (essentially just repeating what the fellow had already told me). I know the fellow needs the experience as part of their PhD, but if I needed to schedule a follow up, I wouldn't really know what to expect from Dr. Sufrinko. She seemed very kind when I did eventually meet her, though.
outstanding provider! explained everything very well, addressed all my concerns, reassured me, and came up with a thoughtful care plan. she arranged a same-day therapy session despite me not having an appointment.
She was very courteous and respectful and answered all questions. Ine of the best doctors that I have seen in awhile.
Excellent experience with Dr. Sufrinko. Highly recommend.
This office was very informative and serious about my care. Although the wait time was a little long I appreciated that they took their time with me and I didn't feel rushed. Which tells me they give all their patients that time and consideration. That makes the wait worth it.
I thought this provider offered phenomenal service and I would be proud to recommend them to anyone who is struggling as I was.
Dr Sufrinko is not only an excellent doctor, she has an excellent demeanor. Always polite, always listens, uses humor and smiles a lot, listens intently and never assumes she knows what you're going to say. I originally treated at AGE for my concussion, and the level of care that I've received from UPMC Sports Medicine is just so far above and beyond AGH, you cannot compare the two. Dr. Sufrinko is part of an amazing staff that has treated me with nothing but the utmost dignity and respect, I honestly can't say enough good things about her specifically and UPMC Sports Medicine as a whole
Dr. Sufrinko was very thorough and conscientious during my son's exam.
Dr. Sufrinko was the first doctor ever to explain that my headaches could be worse because of over the counter pain meds. She is a great doctor.
Very good, deserves a raise/promotion, thank you.
