Dr. Tobey is wonderful! I feel like she genuinely hears my concerns and understands my daughter's situation.
we had a good experience during our visit with Dr. Toby
the PA and Dr Tobey were excellent. explained things well and had great bedside manner.
Dr. Tobey is a wonderful and caring physician..
Excellent with the kids. Happy to see all options discussed for care moving forward with reasonable course of action.
I love Dr Tobey. she's always great with the kids, and always makes it easy to understand anything we need to do.
I absolutely love Dr. Tobey. She takes her time and listens and cared about my daughters issues. At this point I only want to take my daughter to Dr. Tobey for treatment.
Dr Toby was very attentive and caring.
Dr Tobey squeezed us into her full schedule while we were in town for other appointments. She did it so we didn't have to travel back to the hospital because it's almost a 4 hour drive. She stayed after clinic hours and answered all the questions I had about my son's upcoming surgery. Dr Tobey is a wonderful doctor, very caring.
I liked the way she walked me through things we discussed. I also loved the fact that they don't mind collaborating with the pulmonologist about my child's health. I recommend children's ENT to EVERYONE with kids. They are the absolute best!
love her she really listens and is great with my son
everything was good
great at listening to my concerns, ordered appropriate testing, good at comforting my child who has anxiety about anyone other than her original ENT looking at her.
I was hesitant to receive care from Dr. Tobey based on the reviews online. However, I had an amazing experience with her and the staff along with her. They were happy, upbeat, and very pleasant. My husband and I both left the office confident that we received the best possible care that day.
Dr Tobey and office was great!
bad experience. didn't like her tone with us. she was set that my daughter had menieres possibly (solely because i mentioned i have menieres from getting hit in the head. i asked her would she have even mentioned menieres if i wouldn't have told her i had menieres. she said no i wouldn't have. i made a two month appt to see a diff doc that we have seen there before for another child of mine prior. a doctor tha i trust. i would never go back to this one again
The visit went well and we liked Dr. Tobey, but we waited an hour past our appointment time before we were even taken back.
Dr. Tobey always seems to care about my child and when we have concerns. She takes plenty of time during the appointments but she doesn't take more time than needed so we aren't having to wait around for hours with an impatient 2 year old! I will definitely refer her to anybody!
Dr Tobey was excellent. very attentive and explained things in ways we can understand.
Dr Tobey was informative and caring.
we were seen over an hour after our scheduled appointment time. it's annoying when this happens with a young child, especially when no one acknowledges or apologizes for being so behind schedule
the wait time
staff was friendly and efficient and I was extremely happy they were able to get us in asap, newborn that was tongue tied
She is a good ENT doctor but she is usually really rushed and I think that can cause some trouble. Maybe you should hire more ENTs so she can spend more time with each patient and relax a bit. Frankly, that might benefit the entire department. Those wait times are really bad.
The provider refused to acknowledge that my child's symptoms had anything to do with his condition. Then, she pushed for an invasive, emotionally distressing, and painful test, saying that the results would help her to figure out what is going on. I agreed to the test, and talked my 5-yo son into putting up with it. He reacted so poorly, that she was only able to partially complete the nasal camera test. When she said that she was giving up, I asked if she had gotten a chance to get into the sinus that was bothering him, and she flippantly answered, "Oh, I was never going to get into there--the camera doesn't turn corners like that!" and laughed. I AM LIVID, STILL, 5 DAYS LATER. I would NOT have agreed to the test, had I known that she was not investigating the issue that I had specifically brought him in for! She caused pain and suffering in my child FOR NOTHING.
my son was referred to see an ENT by my child's pediatrician. our goal was to consult a specialist and get answers to his frequent ear infections. I felt like the Dr. gave us very vague and diplomatic responses- not really guiding us the way I had hoped. I think she was very knowledgeable- I just wish she would have made a more definitive recommendation. she had my son's hearing tested - the audiologist said his hearing tested adequately, and we never heard back from the Doctor- just dismissed. I work for a dental specialist- when our patients are referred to us by the general dentist we research their specific condition and get any relevant records from the referring doctor. The dental specialist is prepared to answer questions and direct the patient as needed. I felt our ENT was unprepared regarding my son's specific case and relied mostly on me to inform her of his medical records. I expected more when being seen by a specialist.
We waited over 1-1/2 hours to see the doctor. I understand schedules get behind, but I was not expected it to be that long of a wait. That is a long time to keep a young child entertained in a small office environment.
always good experience when I go with my daughter a good Doctor
dr Toby is the best! we love her! I trust her with my kids 100 percent!
both the Nurse Practitioner and MD listened and explained options
Dr. Tobbey has always been great with my granddaughters. She explains everything to me & always askes if I have questions & answers them
The wait was extremely long, but Dr. Tobey was very nice, listened, and took immediate action to help my child. Very happy with his care.
Dr. Tobey is amazing. she is respectful, caring and listens to all of your concerns. she is great with our little one
i was very pleased with the visit
Doctor, Physicians Assistant and Nurses were all patient and understanding of our reason for the appointment.
Dr. Tobey is excellent! She is kind, compassionate and very patient with my son's care. She provides great care and is respectful or our goals for our son. I recommend her to everyone that has need of an ENT. She is willing to go beyond what anyone would expect of a provider to care for the children and families she serves. She has done so for our family on many occasions! Thank you for allowing us to work with her!
Very compassionate team. On time! I felt that I was heard and really listened to.
overall very good but quick care. she seemed thorough with this being a simple thing for her, but I was still scared because suegery is coming
dr tobey was swift, efficient and kind
Dr. Tobey, the Nurse practitioner, nurses and staff were all very kid friendly, caring and easy to talk to.
Alison was amazing, she listen to everything that was going on and helped us make the best decision for our son to get tubes in his ears. I have to say with his ear infections she and his primary doctor Mary Ann are the best doctors we have seen through your offices.
Dr Tobey is great. She listens and discusses multiple options. We are very happy she's helping us with our son's ear issues.
My son left saying that everyone was awesome.
I love Dr Tobey but my husband and I were extremely disappointed that after our daughters surgery, no one from the surgical team spoke with us regarding how the surgery went. We asked in PACU and in our inpatient room and were assured we would speak with the surgeon. 6 weeks later at her follow up appointment, I finally learned how my daughters surgery went.
I got lost and went to a different location and these people were wonderful and in helping me get to them and still letting my son be seen even though we were late due to going to the wrong location! thank you!
she was very nice
Thank you for the excellent visit!!!
Dr. Tobey is amazing! We have always had such good experiences with her. She is an expert in her field and really knows what will help our son and his complex medical needs. She is compassionate and thorough.
Dr. was running behind. we felt that she was rushed. Repeating treatment an allergist said to stop. went for tests and had no idea what to do next. was very displeased but will to chalk it up to a bad day and my son was not having symptoms.
The ladies were very kind with our daughter and explained nearly everything to us, as we are new to the location and process.
I've always got excellent care
We love Dr Tobey and Dr Katie Williams.
I am not happy with the fact that it seems they are ignoring the earaches for 6 months. He suffers every time he gets one
Dr. Tobey is absolutely fantastic. I called the schedule line for an appointment and I wasn't able to get one for 10+ weeks which is awful. I called the nurse line and Dr. Tobey made room for us the same week I called. She is a doctor we trust and she really helps us through the reoccuring health issues my daughter has.
Dr. Toby was. wonderful. we had a scheduled appointment with Kathryn Williams, however considering my daughters presentation Dr Toby took time from her schedule to come in, perform the analysis, handle the "procedure" & patiently took all the time necessary to ensure I had all information I needed, allowed me to reiterate in my own words our discussion & before leaving ensured thoroughly that all questions I had were answered. I sincerely respect and appreciate her care & consideration
Dr. Tobey was wonderful with my child. He enjoyed talking to her and she was very thorough in her assessment. We were very pleased with Dr. Tobey.
I felt that Dr. Tobey was too quick to try to pass us off on the Gastro department and if it wasn't for my engaging her that we would have spent even less than the 10 minutes we did have with her.
The wait time was extremely long (1.5 hours), but Dr. Tobey is worth it. We have 2 medically complex children and have seen over 20 doctors at Children's. Dr. Tobey is the most helpful and well informed doctor we have ever seen there. She knows more about other specialties than the doctors in that department know (GI).
It's hard to say, as your with the provider for such a short time. I believe she did really good for the short period of time that she was in the office.
Dr Tobey was very very nice explained everything in terms that my 10 year old understood which helped a lot with everything she was doing. she was wonderful
The doctor we saw was pleasant, knowledgable and professional.
Very upbeat, positive, and personable! Thank you!
She is great! She listened to my questions and contacted me about test results when I was concerned.
Dr Tobey was very friendly and knowledgeable very easy to communicate with I would definitely recommend her to anyone
We waited for Dr. Tobey for over an hour. She only spent 5 minutes with us, and only checked our son's ears and throat. She didn't do anything different than our regular pediatrician does at well visits. She did not seem at all concerned with our issues, nor sympathetic that we have been dealing with these issues for 1 year, since our son was born. She did not listen to our concerns, and just brushed them off. She never directly blamed us, but she insinuated and hinted that he has behavioral issues and it is because he needs to sometimes nurse for comfort. She never even tried to understand our situation and everything we have done and tried with our son. We waited 2 months for this appointment, hoping to get a more extensive exam done on our son by an ENT specialist to see if he has any problems that are causing his poor sleep, poor eating habits, and overall fussiness. Such a huge disappointment and waste of our time.
very friendly. knew my sons medical issues even with this being his first visit.
she is excellent! very professional and very friendly!!
Excellent care! Very knowledgeable physician and staff.
Very patient and kind
all experiences have been good. Dr. Tobey has been amazing!
We love Dr. Tobey! She s on time always and takes her time answering so we aren't sure how she does it. She answers all questions and is a perfect fit for our family.
First time seeing this doctod, visit was good
listed to us AND our child. amazing doctor
Dr.Allison Tobey is the best doctor. A+
dr Toby is the best!! my son loves her! our whole family loves her!!
Dr. Tobey is always kind and polite. I can tell she loves what she does and is always looking out for what's best for the child. I am thankful we have her as a provider.
we love children's and our experience has always been great.
Dr. Tobey and her nurses were very kind especially to the kids.
Dr Tobey was great. This was our first time seeing her. My only regret is that we didn't find her sooner. We couldn't be happier with our entire experience. Our little girl is already breathing and hearing better.
She was very thorough. Answered all my questions. Scheduled surgery that will hopefully help my young child's chronic breathing problems.
everyone one was very nice!!
Dr. Tobey is amazing. She is the best in EVERY way. I couldn't ask for anything more.
The wait time was very very long My appointment was 3:30 PM. I arrived 12 minutes early. I sat in the Lobby/waiting room until around 3:45. they took me back to the exam room where I continued to wait until 4:25 I waited nearly 1 hour past my scheduled appointment.
I think Dr Tobey is excellent. her staff was very good too. I had a problem with the long wait time. our appointment was for 3:15 and the doctor didn't see us until 4:30. this is totally unacceptable.
Wait time was very long.
we were in the exam room for a very long time before we were seen and my son had a couple meltdowns as a result. the overall appointment with his hearing test was a total of 2 hours long due mostly due to waiting.
