The Dr does not have any bedside manner. Should be more friendly, especially since she is working with children.
the doctor is very kind and understanding. Also very thorough on my daughter's situation.
I was very pleased with the way the provider spoke to my daughter and asked her questions as apposed to asking me all the questions. provider was very pleasant.
provider was excellent. highly recommend
the doctor was nice to my son. it was an short visit
care has been excellent with this provider, however some friendliness and positive bedside manner could improve the relationship. the doctor is extremely knowledgable and has made a world of difference for my child.
This was the first time we went to Children's Hospital, and the first time we met our doctor. She was very easy to talk to, listened to us and is helping us to get our son's condition under control.
His doctor was very thorough in what she explained to us. She asked a lot of questions which was nice to hear because it showed that she was trying to find us an answer. I was very pleased with this visit.
Everyone in the office was very kind to us, my son liked it there.
The staff was very professional and caring, and the environment felt clean and safe. Dr. Smajlovic herself was nice, but she had a very flat affect. While she was very courteous and processional, and she definitely listened attentively, she didn't express much emotion, so at first she came off as uncaring and difficult to read. I realize this is a matter of personality, however, and I did not take offense.
I'm delighted with Dr. Smajlovic and feel she has been wonderful with my son. Hopefully we can come to some conclusions as to a resolution for him.
Dr.Smailovic Amina was very nice and knowledgeable. She talked to my son and asked him questions as well.
Dr. Didn't seem interested in her problem. Did not exam her for more than just a few seconds...literally, just touched stethoscope to chest, back, stomach for no more than 1/2 second each-theres no way she properly examined her as my daughter hadn't even taken a breath when she was "listening" to her lungs. she offered no insight as to why my daughter had any of her issues. I won't go back to see her. She did do what I had requested from her as far as labs, which was at least nice to get what I felt she needed despite very little feedback from the physician.
Everyone was very professional and nice.
we have had nothing but good experiences.
We have been unable to diagnos my daughter's Heath concern. I appreciated the time Dr. Smalijvic spent with us during the appointment and on a follow up call! We have full confidence in her ability to eventually get to the bottom of my daughter's stomach issues!
she was very professional, thorough and very good at explaining things. she answered all of my questions, spent lots of time with us, was easy to talk to and made us feel very comfortable. she also called us a week later to give blood test results and to go over the plan of action we had discussed. I am very pleased with the care we received.
I am the patients grandmother. I have taken him to his appointments on several occasions. The doctor never talks to my child one to one. She does not try to engage him at all. She is very professional and very knowledgeable and I am happy with the care that she has given him, however I find it odd that a pediatric specialist has absolutely no interaction with the pediatric patient. This was not the case with the other staff members.
We had no knowledge of what to expect at our visit since it was our first appointment. Dr. Smajlovic was thorough and gave us reassurance that we could access her services when needed. We were very pleased with the visit including the whole process of checking in and out as well.
Dr did nor have good bedside manner. Interupted me when l was explaining whst was going on with child
Dr. Smajlovic is a wonderful doctor. My son has been sick for at least 2 years. She was the only doctor (out of dozens) that listened to us and made the correct choices in testing. Since first seeing her in Jan 2015, he has shown amazing improvements in his health.
Excellent bedside manner with children and parents alike. Explained everything very clearly. Knowledgeable AND caring- the perfect combination you want in a doctor for your child.
The doctor did not seem at all rushed even though clearly they were behind schedule. She was thourough, kind and made my daughter feel at ease.
