It has been a pleasure to have Dr. Alper and his team care for both my children and their ears. We've been seeing him for almost 10 years now and he really knows how to make some scary or stressful situations more pleasant. He's the best physician when it comes to dealing with children. Thank You.
I love Dr. Alper. He is so knowledgeable and gentle with my daughter.
The doctor was very attentive to the needs of my daughter. He showed compassion and understanding for her fears of being at the hospital.
great nurses, staff and doctor, caring
Best doctor ever! I've recommended him to my in laws and they love him as well. great bedside manner, my kids love him!!
answered very poor with washing hands... they did not physically use any hand sanitizer or any sort visibly in the room.
Dr. Alper makes my son very comfortable during his visits. Best Dr. we have
very excellent care!
With an ongoing or reoccurring problem, I had hoped to get more help from the doctor finding causes to the reoccurring symptoms. However, even after asking the doctor didn't seem concerned with trying to find the cause at this time.
Dr. Alper is an excellent ENT. My children have seen a few different ENT doctors at children's, and he is by far the best.
Often we've had providers in the past that had their own agenda and really didn't listen, or worse, didn't care what was actually going on with our children. This visit was refreshing, in that the professionals listened to our concerns, and put into consideration where they fit into things and what can be done to further my child's health instead of just putting the kids into a cliche category and assuming. The interaction was empathetic and intelligent, with good information on direction and future expectation of care as far as their clinic goes for my son's health. It was perhaps one of the best clinics i've dealt with so far.
PA that came in before Dr. Alper was wonderful. Very nice, thorough and spent as much time as I needed
Dr. Alper and his staff have treated both my children and has always been wonderful!
Overall, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I just felt like the examination itself was cursory and he probably spent only about 5 or so minutes with us. But he addressed the problem correctly and seemed to really care; he gave us good advice moving forward, and we scheduled a follow-up for two months from now.
we always have a great experience here.
everything was good! no problems here.
The doctor had diagnosed our son before even coming in the exam room. I was still filling out the paperwork that contained his current health information so he did not even have the current medical complaint info. He based his diagnosis on what records existed in UPMC's system rather than listen to the history of our son's ongoing sinus problems that had been treated outside that system (by primary care). He told us what was causing the problem before even looking in our son's ears and nose and handed me papers on how to control acid reflux. When we tried to tell him that the issue he blamed was under control, he dismissed us. He also disregarded that our son is 16 years old and talked only to me as if our son was a child. He spent all of about 5 minutes in the exam room.
We waited almost 2 hours for a very short follow up appointment
This was our first visit and Dr Al and the entire staff was amazing
we love dr Alper
The doctor and staff were very helpful. They had asked about some health information at the start of the visit and I had given them corrections regarding current allergies and a diagnosis, and they had not updated that information on the paperwork that I was sent home with. I don't think it's relevant to what I'll need to do to care for my child, but it could be confusing since it's inaccurate.
We were left in a room for almost an hour, 40 minutes past our appointment time
visit ALWAYS goes well
Dr. Alper was so great to work with. My daughter is often scared of doctors but he was so nice and gentle that my daughter wasn't worried.
We love Dr. C. Alper!
Dr. Alper is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. My son was on the floor playing with a puzzle when he came in. My son handed him a puzzle piece and they proceeded to work on a couple of pieces together. This made my son completely relaxed while he did the exam and my son is normally anxious at the doctors office.
Loved our Doctor, he is great
The staff at this facility handled my special needs daughter with professionalism and dedication.
We love doc Alper and is so kind and gentle
The Dr was very informative and really put our minds at ease. Our son has some very complex medical issues that this did not have to be one of them. The Dr and CRNP were both very thorough and kind. We could not ask for more
The entire practice has always been and continues to be accommodating, receptive, and welcoming.
Every one who works in the clinic in Oakland was so wonderful. My daughter tested with them all day and they attended to her every need and also were very thoughtful of mine. Thumbs up for children's' hospital!!
Couldn't ask for anything better!
Dr. Alpner provides excellent care to my child.
He spent three hours making sure that I did not leave his office in pain. He is a very dedicated, wonderful Doctor.
Dr. Alper is wonderful with kids. He was thorough and ordered tests to validate the situation. Glad we have him.
The office was great. My son is terrified of doctors ever since his ER visit for stitches. Dr.Alper had a way with my 2yr old. Talked to HIM and made him feel comfortable.
I like that there have been two opinions on my child's health each visit. It took getting use to knowing that I had to give any information that I wanted the doctor to know to the first "physician" that came in as the actual doctor kept his visit very brief and didn't ask much beyond the initial information given to the first person.
was always good with my daughter.
In the future I will see dr. Alper.
