As per below, waited for a long time to see provider. Sure he did acknowledge a quick "I'm sorry about your wait". Does NOT know how to interact with children. Poor bedside manner. Did shake hand, but barely made eye contact, smile or have a kid-friendly approach to my daughter. At times I felt he was discounting what I was stating, talking over me, impatient with me, like I was wasting his time. I did appreciate his plan of care for my daughter, but I would much rather have another friendly provider next time. I was uneasy in this visit.
Dr. Lindblad was wonderful. My son was extremely nervous but he calmed him down immediately...talking to him, not at him. I appreciated that he asked my son about how he felt, what he was experiencing, not just me, as the parent. I would highly reccomend Dr. Lindblad to anyone.
My son has an extensive medical history and is struggling with eating at the moment. Dr. Lindblad has been working on this issue for a long time and we agree on the best course of action for my son.
was very upset because he said he was ordering exrays but never told me he was orderinh them stat and nobody else did either so i drove 3 1/2 hours back home to find out that my child had pneumonia and had to take her to our home town er then she was transferred to children's hospital in Pittsburgh.
We thank God for an awesome GI doctor. Dr Lindblad always listens to our concerns . So blessed to have him for my son's doctor.
appointment was for 11 and we didn't see Dr until 1150
we didn't really get any answers, whether it was because it's complicated or what. the doctor sat at the computer typing and said the word um.....um....um more than any medical talk about why we were there. nice guy just felt more confused leaving the office than before we went in about what is going on with my son. never feel like that after appts at children's
Dr.Lindblad is awesome. You may have to wait sometimes ,however, he is very thorough and spends time answering all questions.I Thank God that he is my son's physician. He interacts well with him .Also, when you call into the office his nurse Allison responds quite efficiently.
The visit was fine. My son was sick, the doctor ordered a bunch of tests to be done. Just waiting to hear results of testing.
Provider would interrupt repeatedly when I was explaining my concerns.
Dr. Linblad listened to what was going on with my autistic son, as he cannot speak for himself. He took my concerns seriously and was very reassuring in our decision to seek GI care.
I wish the dr would of talked to me not stated at computer and listened to what my concerns were instead of assuming and cutting me off in middle of speaking
We were asked to arrive at 2:30 for a 3:00 appointment. We were on time but did not see provider until 4:30!! That is unacceptable. I will really think twice before scheduling with this provider again. I'll schedule if it's extremely urgent but maybe not otherwise.
Dr Lindblad is the best GI doctor I have ever been to. He is kind and seems to actually care about me and my health!
Alison, the nurse, was very sympathetic towards my daughter's problems. She relayed messages and questions to Dr. LIndblad and provided answers the soonest she could. She was very helpful. Dr LIndblad however needs more TLC when dealing with his patients. I am disappointed in the length of time it took Dr. Lindblad to provide us results of biopsies. I had to make several calls to the office to gain the results. I am also disappointed in how my questions to Dr Lindblad were addressed. My 15 year old daughter even commented on his lack of interest, interrupting me, etc. As the appointment was ended, he shook my daughter's hand and yet failed to acknowledge me upon his departure. More compassion for the parent is required.
waited over 2 hours to see doctor
He got called out of the office several times but we understood. He seemed very thorough and spent quite a while listening and writing down pertinent information.
I was very pleased with our visit. I felt he really listened and answered our questions and addressed our concerns.
I must say I was hesitant at first regarding Dr.Lindblad . He appears very serious ,however,he came into my son's room with our very first inpatient visit and sat on his bed and interacted very well with my 13yr old. After his colonoscopy he spent 15mins with me explaining things . He is very thorough and I appreciate him taking the time to answer questions . He does an excellent job explaining the dx and disease process. I give him a 10/10. He makes my son feel secure that we have a great doctor like Dr. Lindblad managing his crohns disease. He is worth the 50 min ride into the city or Wexford office.
the doctor came reccomend from several people, and was exceptionally informative
The Dr was texting on his phone n kept telling me to hold on. He did not look at documentation I brought w me. He did not seem to care about my concerns and kept cutting me off when I tried to discuss issues with him. He waited until after he was in the room and quickly reviewed my sons medical records that were previously faxed to him. I never want to see that specific Dr again, he was very noncaring as well as disrespectful.
Dr. Lindblad was very thorough and took time to listen to our concerns. He took into consideration all of her medical history and came up with a plan of action. Very pleased!
My son and I both felt the doctor did not have a friendly disposition. He did not always give eye contact and did not smile. He did not seem to be someone who enjoys children.
