Dr. Chou gave me excellent care, surgery and follow up. He explained plan of care and was so accurate in what to expect post-op. My scarring will be nearly invisible. I thank him so much for his expertise and caring.
This was the first time I have used this medical facility for health care and I was very pleasantly surprised at the service. I will definitely use this facility for every issue I Mar have in the future. Recommended to all who may ask!
Very good experience. Would recommend Dr. Chou
Best hand surgeon in Pittsburgh! Wonderful experience all around from the office to surgery. Would not trust my hands to anyone else after all the amazing work he has done.
I always get the best service from this provider and his staff.
This provider and staff were very considerate and efficient. I would have no problem recommending them to a friend.
Dr. Chou is a good surgeon and doctor.
Dr. Chou was very prompt, helpful, efficient, and friendly. I am highly satisfied with my care
Dr. Chou is an Excellent Orthopedic Surgeon with up to date in his Specialty. He is very kind, courteous & friendly.
the experience I had in my visit was that I thought the dr was not very attentive to what I wanted to say. He interrupted me a lot while I was speaking, I didn't have a chance to explain all of my health concerns. The visit with the actual doctor was approximately 3 minutes total. I thought I would have had more time to speak with him.
From check in to scheduling the next appt.. everything went smoothly and efficently.
Dr. Chou did a great job. It was my first visit and it went well.
This doctor was recommended to us by Dr. James Bradley, who has performed multiple surgeries for our family and whose advice we trust. This doctor possesses an exceptionally calming demeanor and listens calmly to the patient concerns. His PA is to be commended - this person squeezed us in due to the serious nature of injury. We are very grateful and confident in level of care. This doctor clearly demonstrated care and concern for the individual patient. He is a calming presence, a patient listener - skills sorely needed in medicine today. I am grateful for Dr. Chou's PA, and his time with my child. I highly recommend him.
This was my first visit with Dr. Chou. I was extremely pleased with his professionalism, care and honesty regarding the problem with my arthritic hand.
Dr. Chou is an excellent surgeon who I would highly recommend. He is very professional with a friendly demeanor. He is patient and will take whatever time you need to thoroughly answer your questions.
very quick and knowledgable
This provider performed surgery on my hand. Most of these questions are irrelevant. You need a separate survey for such incidents. This is the second surgery he's done, once on my other hand. I am very pleased with the results, and also with him. I would definitely recommend him to others.
Nurse/assistant was very pleasant and professional. Dr. Chow appeared to be rushed, annoyed. Just about zero bedside manner. I felt as if I was just another number/speed bump in his day.
Dr. Chou has very good kindly Manners he is a class act as a doctor I would recommend him to anybody he's a very kind person he listens he explains and resolve my problem and my arm I only took the survey because I like to explain do whoever would be listening how good of a doctor he is
Tiffany was a gem. Give her a raise
My son was seen for a broken hand which required surgery. Dr. Chou accommodated a quick appointment from an ER referral, scheduled surgery quickly, was very explanatory of the procedure and expectations, included my son in the decision ion making and teaching and made all of us feel very confident with his recommendations and abilities.
Very good, no complaints
My care with Franklin Chou's office and staff were very good, this was the first time I had seen Dr. Chou, I have seen another Dr. In the same office as him, 6 years ago. When I called Dr.Hasselman's office they referred me to Dr. Chou's office for my thumb.
Everyone was excellent
Very good experience
Dr Chow was an excellent dr and would use him again if needed.
Received great and friendly care.
Dr. Chou is AWESOME!
They worked well as a team
I have had nothing but great care at Three Rivers Orthopedic with Dr. Chou.
Best ever excellent staff. Would recommend to family and friends .
Not overly friendly. Just very matter of fact and to the point.
dr chou is a great doctor. he is very well mannered and easy to work with. very patient and thorough
Dr. Chou is the best!
Dr. Chou was friendly and courteous and the entire staff was very professional.
All the staff, from the front office, to the nursing, and the doctor at this office are the best I have dealt with and I have dealt with several.
Everyone, including Dr. Chou was very polite and concerned with my injury and treatment plan.
This visit was a mixed bag for us. Dr. Chou *clearly* understands what he is doing and has a wonderful medical reputation. I am happy that he is treating my child. That said, his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. I felt he was slightly impatient with me nor did he explain what he was doing when handling my child's injury. No doubt he treats thousands of minor fractures and knows what he is doing. He has never treated *my* child, however, who is a person and not just another chart.
Dr. Chou was too quick. Options of treatment were only discussed when I brought the subject up. I would like to have seen the x-rays. He could work on his communication skills and show a little more respect for his patients concerns and their time.
very friendly helpful staff. like the fact the doc was sports oriented understands the desire to get back on the field of play c
I would certainly recommend Dr. Chou. I find his efficiency in presenting a diagnosis and offering a remedy very helpful. I was in an out of the office in just a few minutes and feeling much better. It was all good.
Dr Franklin Chou was prompt, sure of himself and therefore confidence building, and came to diagnosis and treatment that was extremely helpful and relatively painless.
It was a very good experience.
I would not trust any other orthopedic surgeon with my complex case. Dr. Chou gave me back the function I lost, and I owe everything to him!
I've only seen him once but I was very satisfied with the care I received.
Overall I had a good experience. The provider answered any questions I had.
he seemed very nice but spent less than ten minutes with me and ordered a test at another provider. he didn't go over my X-rays and I got the results myself on myupmc.com and not sure what it means. I go back to him after my tests at another provider. I will decide then if I will stay with three rivers orthopedic then.
The provider was straight to the point. I felt I was given the choices and the results of each choice so I could make an educated decision about my treatment.
Great experience so far - have another appt in 2 weeks
He seemed very knowledgeable, confident, interested, engaged and empathetic.
I was referred to Dr. Chou by my PCP, Dr. Daljit Singh. When I called (by telephone) to make an appointment I was given EXCELLENT attention and help and I was sent (by email) the required forms to complete and email back. This was VERY helpful, and greatly appreciated, in allowing me time to find and provide the correct information. On arrival at Three Rivers Ortho the receptionist VERY professionally handled the check-in procedure and directed me to the appropriate place to wait. VERY quickly I was met and taken to an examination room by another VERY courteous person. I was in the examination room for a very shot time before Dr, Chou arrived to examine me and discuss my injuries. Dr. Chou had previously reviewed my X-ray report and was WELL PREPARED to discuss my injuries as he examined me and to discuss my proper course for recovery. I am completely satisfied by my examination, my discussions with Dr. Chou and his explanations and recommended course of action for recovery.
They did not have the right information on me as a matter of fact they thought I was someone else.
EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE, ALL CARE WAS EXACTLY WHAT HAS HELPED ME
I was comforted to find out I knew Dr Chou outside of the physician-patient relationship. I have every confidence he will do right by me.
Dr. Chou demonstrated excellent communication skills. He answered my questions thoroughly, politely, and like i'm an intelligent adult, which I really appreciated. He listened as well as spoke. I was very appreciated and have confidence in him and his abilities.
Doctor explained everything I asked him about and was realistic with planning when I needed to have surgery done.
Ihave never had a bad experience when receiving care with Three Rivers. Dr. Chou was friendly, informative and helpful.. The other staff has always been professional and I have at times complemented them on this.
This was my first experience with an orthopedic doctor. I broke my elbow and had to have surgery and Dr. Chou was very professional and courteous at all times. I trusted him completely and would have no problem using him again if I had to.
wonderful doctor. great first experience
Dr. Chou was understanding and explained well my condition.
very efficient well run office - everyone was very thorough, polite, everyone very knowledgable about what their duties were and glad to serve you. dr. is very professional but you felt like he cared about you.
I have been to this provider before for other operations before. He has always been helpful explaining things to me and giving me know of the other options beside surgery. I have had a few different kinds of operations with him and feel secure going to him as he does a great job everytime. I would and I will recommend him and this office to anyone that has a problem that they can help with.
Dr. Chou demonstrated concern for me and the injury that I had. He listened to my concerns and provided me with answers as well as treatment options. In addition, he gave me instructions regarding what I needed to do at home to begin to heal. He also informed me of any additional medical treatments that he could provide if healing did not occur as needed. His calm manner was both comforting and reassuring.
Doctor Chou is an excellent provider of health care. Probably one of the finest who has ever cared for me.
