He explained medical terms clearly, and answered my questions adequately.
Excellent experience. Dr. Ullal always goes above and beyond to take care of questions, forms, etc. Very pleased!
Dr. Ullal was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He took the time to answer all of my questions and answered them in a way that was informative and easy to understand. His expertise was very apparent and made me feel confident in the care I was receiving. I couldn't be more happy with my experience with Dr. Ullal and UPMC
The good experience was that he made me feel comfortable talking with him. I was pleased that he reviewed some of my UPMC reports from other doctors and encouraged me to make appointments for tests that he saw are ordered for me.
this was by far the best doctor I have ever seen with UPMC The first time I've ever felt I was being taking care of Thank you!
This was my first visit to endocrinology and Dr Ullal. While I was not able to choose a provider in order to get the first appointment available, I was very pleased with this doctor and the visit overall.
Dr. Ullal was a great listener, and was incredibly supportive in my health and wellness goals living with Type 1 diabetes. He was very understanding of my personal frustrations with the disease, and offered very genuine, educated advice.
I was with a new doctor and he was excellent.
I have only seen this endocrinologist twice, after years with a different one. he listened to my concerns and responded immediately by performing an exam with biopsy. he called me about the results. the second visit he suggested a sleep test and issues to discuss with my pcp. he was thorough and thoughtful.
Everything went well as far as I could determine.
very good at getting back to you
this was my 1st visit with him and he was an excellent doctor to my perspective.
provider did not address all of the concerns my pcp requested him to. I was also told that my follow up care could be closer to home at the Monroeville practice. This provider doors not even work out of the Monroeville practice. the provider doesn't very little time with me and told me that I was fine, that all the symptoms im experiencing must just be from something else and that he would see me in 6 months.
I was a new patient and this was my first appointment with provider, It was a very positive experience
My experience was great, it literally ticked all the boxes.Completely satisfied, thanks.
My overall experience with Dr. Ullal was excellent. He was professional, knowledgable, & compassionate. He explained all of my test, review my medical history & took his time with this initial visit. After the visit (same day) he called me as he said he would with my test results & explained a new medication he ordered at the pharmacy. I would highly recommend this physician.
Very good, I appreciated that he took the time to listen and come up with suggestions. He explained the next steps very clearly, and I felt good leaving with a "plan of action" and I'm hopeful that things will improve.
I was very pleased with my visit! Excellent experience with Dr. Ullal, the diabetic specialist, and nursing staff. I would recommend to anyone!
Dr. Ullal was a breath of fresh air. He asked questions and spent a lot of time to understand my situation. He explained what might be happening in easy to understand terms without seeming to be annoyed by my questions. I felt like we were a team troubleshooting my health situation to come up with a solution other than a typical Dr. visit who gives me script and sends me on my way. He understood that I wanted a cure and not a treatment. For the first time in four years, I believe my health will improve.
Good at explaining and listened well
very nice and knowledgeable young man
Dr. Ullal didn't give me any new information beyond what I already knew about possible causes of my fatigue. He only ordered a thyroid test I have previously had to rule out hypothyroidism causing my fatigue, and when it was within the normal range, he offered no other suggestions. I explained that many people, myself included, have improved energy when their levels are low normal, but he did not address this.
Was my 1st visit and was satisfied with the time and thoughts into the issue. I do believe that 1 part of it was not really related to the current problem, but did appreciate the overall thought into my well being
