I do not feel that Dr Barbar listens. I feel he has an idea of what is going on before fully listening to the parent. there have been 3 occasions where he said it was emotional or behavioral in nature before ruling out any physical problem.
Physician is very thorough and is knowledgeable about health history..; gives good advice each time we see him
Dr. Barber is one of the nicest doctors I've had experience with
Overall, it was a great experience.
The care by Dr. Barber and his staff has been excellent for many years!
great care provided
excellent experience. took extra time, was so compassionate, thorough and had perfect advice
Dr Barber is a excellent doctor. I trust and respect him. medical assistant Lyudmila is very caring, compassionate and kind, always able to answer my questions.
excellent attention and time spent with patients
Dr. Barber seemed to be in a rush during the visit and did not give me time to ask questions or express my concerns regarding my child's condition. He was friendly but the time spent was all of 2-3 mins. I spent more time in the waiting area then with the provider.
Doctor Barber is a consummate professional in the medical field and has my complete trust as a provider. Over the years his healthcare has significantly contributed to the overall health of my children.
Dr. Barber is a wealth of information and when asked a question always gives a thoughtful and thorough response.
Always fast and efficient! Staff are all knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Barber has been our children's pediatrician for 17+ years. Always a great experience when we visit the office.
Dr. Barber has been extremely helpful to our family for the last 12 years while we raise a son who is on the autism spectrum.
Dr. Barber was kind and very fast and efficient.
he was incredibly helpful and I appreciate his approach.
very thorough and well versed in my child's diagnosis. provided good insight
Went out of their way to accomodate us. I had written down the wrong time of the appointment, and we were 30 minutes late. The receptionist was gracious and said she'd see if Dr. Barber was able to still see us. He was. At no time did anyone make me feel bad about my mistake.
Always pleased when we see Dr. Barber. very knowledgeable and gives great advice.
Dr. Barber was knowledgable, patient, and took his time to explain things thoroughly.
I do not appreciate him making my child feel bad for being on the upper end of the BMI spectrum. He has always been over 95% for height and weight, despite being active in sports and eating healthy. My child came home last night and was sad about his visit and told me he was only allowed to drink water from now on and wasn't allowed to eat very much (then tried to eat a bunch of cookies after he did not have enough dinner "because he's not allowed to eat much"). Please try to keep in mind that while *I* know he needs to stay active and eat healthy, he does not need to get an eating disorder after going to the doctor. He should be able to act like a little boy and not have to worry.
Dr. Barber is wonderful. He listens and tailors his medical advice to our concerns. We cannot ask for a better pediatrician.
Always love seeing Dr. Barber. He always takes his time and provides excellent care.
I have been coming to this office for several years and I find that during most visits, I am getting lectured at about how to raise my kids - what they eat, how many hours of chores they do in a day and other items. While appreciate the attention to this level of engagement, I feel that we are veering off the path of why I am there - and that would be the physical health of my kids. I appreciate the social and wellbeing aspects of the visits, but it is starting to become a little heavy-handed and condescending.
best dr around.wouldnt chamge ever
He has a poor bedside manner. He seems to know what he's talking about, but he interrupts constantly and makes us feel like we're wasting his time. He made my son frustrated with how often he got interrupted.
This was our first time seeing Dr. Barber since our previous pediatrician retired. Both my son and I were really impressed. I appreciated his honesty and his communication about things my son and I should focus on to help improve/maintain his health.
very Good always gives good advise and helpful tips
Keep up the great work! Everyone in that office is very professional and friendly.
Dr. Barber was very understanding, thorough and compassionate during the appointment. I expressed my disappointment in Children's Express Care and the care we received there over the weekend and he genuinely apologized even though he has no affiliation with that facility. He knew that I felt brushed off by them and was kind enough to reassure me that I had done the right thing and that my gut had been correct about what was wrong with my son. I cannot thank him enough for the comfort that he gave me after that appointment, and for the continued care when I called hours later with another question and concerns about my daughter. THANK YOU Dr. Barber.
Dr. Barber was very professional and performed his duties in a manor that made us feel welcome. His attention to detail directly assists me in caring the welfare of my children.
Dr. Barber is an excellent Physician. I recommend him to everyone I know.
Dr Barber is very good at what he does. has answears to my questions/concerns. helped us get our twins on the same schedule to sleep.
Dr Barber is very attentive, thorough, and explains everything. He even recommends various info that parents may need.
all my Grandkids is with this provider and I recommend to my friends and family
My children have been with Dr. Barber since being babies. I have recommended this practice to 2 other people and they do use Dr. Barber's office for all medical needs.
Dr. Barber is always doing an amazing job
I think that Dr. Barber helped to relieve the anxiety that my daughter is experiencing after a recent visit to one of her other doctors. He spoke to her and played with her in a way that put her at ease.
Good discussion on upcoming transition from grade school to high school, looking at career path.
I am always very satisfied with the care my children receive at the office. The nurses always return phone calls promptly when I have a question or concern when my children are ill.
