I am not happy about some of the tests performed on my child at her well check visit. I feel I should have been asked about these tests first. They were very unnecessary. I am probably going to have to pay for them now when I would have refused them. I understand you want these kids to have conversations in the exam room without parents, but I think every parent should be required to go back and be asked about testing being done to their child before it is done.
We love Dr. Filoni and always request her for well visits and try to get her if it is an illness. But all the providers are very helpful and kind as well.
Dr. Filoni has been my child's pediatrician since birth. Through thick and thin, she has been there to guide us carefully, with respect, and with great wisdom. I would trust no one else.
Great doctor who listens and addresses concerns
New to this provider was very very pleased as we switched from one to this.
Dr. Filoni always makes my kids feel comfortable and happy to visit the doctor's.
Dr. Filoni is a wonderful physician and we make it a point to schedule all well-child visits with her. She is so kind and patient and spends plenty of time discussing our questions and concerns. She did have a resident with her, so that made it somewhat repetitive - we had to discuss a lot with the resident, then repeat ourselves to Dr. Filoni. We understand that is part of their training. We just love Dr. Filoni and make a point to always schedule with her for our visits.
I feel like this provider knows my child well and treats her and I with respect every time we see her. Love Dr. Filoini!
my child is a special needs child and is very complex. Dr Filoni has been caring for him since he was an infant and knows everything about him. she is such a special part of his life that after we moved more than an hour away I did not change doctors. I continue to take my child to her because I don't know that I would be able to find someone as knowledgeable and caring for him. in other words she is well worth the trip.
My provider was very knowledgeable and took my concerns into great consideration and took the time to address them.
Unusually long wait time for this office.
Dr. Filoni is always very kind, empathetic, and has a great bedside manner with my children. She discusses fully the medical condition she is diagnosing and researches my child's history from her medical charts provided on the computer. She discusses treatment options, medications, and never rushes through an appointment.
I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff at this office. I couldn't be more satisfied.
The provider gave a very good exam and made sure my son got the care he needed to get better.
dr filoni is wonderful
I trust Dr. Filoni and think she is very thorough, non judge mental and listens to the child and parent. my kids are also very comfortable with her .
Dr. Filoni has been our children's doctor since they were little and she is amazing and knows our children so well. i really hope UPMC does the right, ethical thing and let highmark continue to use Peds MDs or our family will lose the doctor who knows and can care for our children the best.
Dr. Filoni was thorough and clear in her assessment and explanation. We had an exceptionally long wait time at the walk in clinic due to low staffing. I understand this is not a normal circumstance and is not a typical experience for me. None the less, the lengthy wait to be seen had a chain reaction consequence in that, by the time we left the office and got to the pharmacy I chose to have the electronic script sent, the pharmacy was closed and then the walk in office was also closed. This resulted in my having to contact the after hours call service to the doctor on call to have my son's script re-sent to anthother pharmacy. I then had to pay out of pocket for that script since the first pharmacy (the one that was closed) did fill it before closing for the evening. Eventually, we got the script that evening, but it was a multiple of hassles that all stemmed from the excessive amount of time waiting to be seen and treated in the walk in clinic. (total time spent was an hour and 20 minutes for strep throat dx.). Again, this was not Dr. Filoni's fault and she gave appropriate attention to us, but she was the only provider on staff that evening during cold and flu season. Dr. Filoni was also the doctor on call that evening and she expidited the second prescription request to ensure we had the medicine that evening. We greatly appreciate her attention. She too must have been exhausted! We also appreciated the follow up call by the office staff the next day to make sure we received the medicine we needed.
Dr. Filoni is a great doctor and I have recommended her to many friends!
Best Group of Doctors and Nurses I found when I moved to PA.
Dr Filoni is very thorough and knowledgeable. Her nurse Marilyn was very helpful as well.
This was a very bad experience. My 4 year old needed to have 5 stitches removed from her finger. This was very traumatic for her and very painful. When I inquired about some lidocaine for her finger, it was brushed off "oh, it won't take that long'. It was awful and a memory I won't be able to forget. I should have pushed harder and frankly, I expected more from a children's based office, which is why we came here. Very disappointed.
This has been our provider office since birth - 17 years- and I can say that I have always been very pleased with the care received and especially with the promptness of service - I would highly recommend this office to anyone!
I felt I was really listened to regarding my child's frequent ear infections. My information was given to schedule an ENT appointment to address my concerns.
We no longer live close to the doctors office in cranberry but still travel to see Dr. Filoni. She is kind, gentle and a great listener. She is an amazing doctor!
Dr. Filoni is knowledgeable about everything that related to my son's health. Not only she is an excellent physician, Dr. Filoni has a great personality. She is very gentle with My son and she explains clearly so we can understand everything that needed to be aware of. Dr. Filoni and Dr. Sarknas (another doctor from this group) are the best doctors at Bass Wolfson pediatrics. They make us feel comfortable talking anything with them, and they listen to our concerns, including any unpleasant issues that we encountered from other healthcare offices. Every doctor should be like Dr. Filoni and Dr. Sarknas.
Very thorough and compassionate. Office hours were excellent.
My child is very comfortable with the pediatricians office and made the comment that Dr. Feloni is very good with children. She sounds like she is singing when she greet them and makes them smile!
My son loved Dr Labella and was very upset when he left. With my son's anxiety, I was very concerned about finding another well-child doctor for him. when he and I discussed it, he picked Dr Filoni based on how he had seen Dr Filoni treat his younger sister. When we left, I asked him what he thought and he said "awesome!"
We have used this office and provider since birth - it is not really the most convenient location for us, but we would not change as we have been very pleased with the care here.
she had a wonderful bedside manner and listen to everything I said and every one of my concerns
Dr. Filoni had a resident with her in the office when we were there. Both doctor's were very good. We were there 1 hr. 30 min!
Dr. Filloni is excellent.. she is a very caring and patient doctor. she takes her time to listen to concerns and make sure the problem is figured out. she is great and I always feel like she is truly invested in my sons health and well being. I would recommend her to anyone. it's always a pleasure to have her care for my son.
Both of my kids see Dr Filoni, I recommend her and the while ccp bass Wolfson office to everyone. She seems to be genuinly interested in how the kids are doing. she is very kind and takes time to listen to my many questions and answers them in a way that I understand.
Dr. Filoni is a wonderful doctor and we have trusted her for the past 6 years from day one when we met her in the hospital. My daughter and I both feel very comfortable and know we can trust her and she always makes us smile! Thank you to Dr. Filoni for always being the best for us!!!
I highly recommend Dr. Filoni she is not only a Dr but a parent that can relate to other parents. she is very kind
as always, we received exceptional care!
Dr. Filoni is a wonderful, caring physician and we love this office. Took us till my daughter was 16 to find them, but I am so glad we did!
this Dr is extremely knowledgeable & though she is not the dr we see for regular check ups, any time we have seen her for a sick visit, she gets right down to the source of the problem. I highly recommend, & trust this dr
Dr. Filoni is always very thorough compassionate kind attentive and she takes the time to make sure we understand the conversations regarding my daughters care.
ALWAYS VERY HAPPY WITH OUR EXPERIENCE AT BASS WOLFSON. THE PHYSICIAN AND THE NURSE WERE VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL.
Dr Filoni is amazing. She always listens to our concerns and I feel we can talk to her about anything. She is an incredible doctor.
We were seen Friday with goopy eyes and painful ear and told that my daughter was fine but ended up having to take her to the Children's North After Hours clinic that weekend and she had a double ear infection, pink eye and croup. I am very upset that this was overlooked when we were in the office and told everything was fine.
