the wait time was long
a fair amount of time was spent with my daughter however I don't feel that I was taken seriously and moreso that I overreacted.
We love Dr. Levin and he has helped us through so much-we are very lucky to have him and the staff at the Jefferson office. so glad we chose CCP!
Dr. Levin, listens, explains, and is very kind. He takes great care in my sons health.
Dr Levin has been my child's Dr since day. Always satisfied.
Love our primary doctor and other doctors that sometimes see my son when he is sick.
all persons involved at this office were very courteous and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions completely.
I gave a rating on poor for some of these items because I had to take my child back to after hours doctors office a few hours after my original visit with CCP because noticing more decline with my child and a red swollen throat that was not brought to my attention in original visit to CCP even though doctor had looked at my child's throat. I was concerned that she may possibly have strep. At her second visit, they said she had crackling sounds all throughout her lungs and sent her for chest X-ray to confirm whether she had viral pneumonia or bacterial pneumonia to know whether to put her on an antibiotic. They were able to confirm it was viral pneumonia. These items should not have been overlooked by original doctor a few hours prior as he listened to her lungs as well. I feel doctors should listen to moms, dads, caretakers, etc. better because we do know our children better than they do and if they took the time to listen and do a thorough exam. Then we wouldn't be inconvenienced and having to go to the doctors twice in one day to find out what is wrong with our sick child. I am highly considering changing providers because this happens much too often.
We have been seeing Dr. Levin for 9 years and he is always kind, respectful, and goes out of his way to make myself and my children feel comfortable. He has always been a great pediatrician!!! Front office staff is awesome as well.
Dr Levin is an amazing doctor. He always makes my daughter feel as comfortable as possible when we go in to see him.
I was waiting in the waiting room over 30 minutes before they call my son into the room
Dr Levine is always kind and willing to listen to my concerns related to my daughters special needs.
I felt that Dr. Levin was very respectful, and made me feel like I am the expert about my child, which is exactly what I want! He asked a lot of questions and carefully considered the things that I said.
Great Office - great staff & Dr. Levin is great too
I have been so happy with this physicians office. The pediatrician that our family used had retired and we made the switch about three years ago. It's always been a very pleasant experience the office staff is friendly and efficient the doctors are very knowledgeable make the kids feel very comfortable and open to ask questions and talk.
this was our newborn babb's first appointment, and we very happy with care provided
Had a good experience overall!
Dr. Levin is a smart and kind professional
Dr Levin is BEST!!!! HE IS OFFICALLY MY SON PRIMARY DOCTOR!!!!! I WILL ALWAYS MAKE SURE MY SON SEE DR LEVIN FROM NOW ON!!!! NO ONE ELSE WILL NOT SEE MY SON UNLESS EMERGENCY BUT DR LEVIN IS ALWAYS BE HIS PRIMARY DR!
Very nice doctor. Colleen was nice also.
Dr. Levin was quick and kind to my child---I appreciate that.
the doctor was rude, smart remarks, made smart remark faces all because I chose to use med express before him. will definitely request not to have my children be seen by him again! Terrible!!! when I left he made me feel as I was a bad mother!!
We are very happy to have Dr. Levin as my son's doctor. He listens to us, gives thoughtful responses, and trusts in our feelings as parents. We asked Dr. Levin (through the MYUPMC messaging service) to write a letter so that my son can receive accommodations for his SAT test and Dr. Levin took care of it immediately.
I am quite shocked at how rude and unconcerned Dr. Levin was with my son. I brought him in with sore throat and ear pain. my kids are rarely sick and my husband & I are both nurses. so we do not bring our kids to the doctor unless they are truly sick. Dr. Levin was clearly in a hurry and was not concerned about my son's wellbeing at all. I will never bring my kids to see this doctor EVER AGAIN.
good service , but walk in take forever , over an hour wait
He was very helpful and friendly during our visit. He was also easy to understand and answered our questions.
after I declined flu vaccine - physician pretty much blew us off
the staff at ccp south hills pediatrics always go above and beyond. I love this office. I couldn't be happier!!!!
dr.levin is the best!!! we drive 45 minutes to go there because we love his care for our children.
I liked him he didn't talk to my mom he talked to me.
we absolutely love Dr Levin! he has always been the absolute best doctor. he's always honest, Understanding and wonderful. I tell everyone I know looking for a doctor to go to this office.
I felt rushed through the appointment. Also, I was not informed of her temperature, how her ears, throat, nose looked. or how her breathing was. the doctor didn't say more then a few words in the room. I felt very unhappy witht this visit. I understand it was a walk in appointment, but none the less it is still an appointment and my daughter was and is still sick and I don't feel as though she received the attention or treatment that was needed.
Every time we see this specific doctor I feel he doesn't listen to my concerns or do a thorough exam and we end up back 2 days later to get diagnosed with something he missed. This has happened at least twice now.
I really liked Dr. Levine. he was very nice and asked me questions that led to a helpful discussion of possible things that could help my daughter. this was our first visit to the practice and I was very pleased with the outcome.
we have an extraordinary experience!
We were very pleased that Dr. Levin followed up with us after our visit a few days later with a GI doctor at Children's Hospital. Pleased that the office called us regarding our visit to the GI was. Was also happy that the doctor was concerned about wight loss and wanted to see her a week later. This showed he was concerned and cared for our child.
Dr. Levin has a calming way about him that puts kid's at ease. he's the best!
This is the first doctor we've encountered since switching to CCP South Hills Pediatrics that we can't say we liked. His bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired.
I love ccp shp. I've been going there for 17 years and they treat me like family. They know my kids names, hug them, I just feel so welcomed here.
Dr. Levin seemed annoyed that he had to deal with my child's illness.
Very pleased with this provider. I would not take my child anywhere else.
We always receive the best care from CCP.
nice, quick, and friendly staff!
Dr Levin and staff always provide excellent care.
he never asked my daughter where her abdomen pain was. he palpitated her but didn't touch the pain area. said she had a virus it would take its course gave me excuse for the day of visit and left the room
the dr is always kind to my family.
me and my sons appreciate the concern and age-appropriate language and explanations used by Dr Levin . he's very personable as well.
Always a good experience at this office
I love this practice. I see all the Drs and assistance and love everyone of them
I felt very welcomed at the visit where I didn't want to run from the building which was a great full experience for me. Thank you
Dr Levin is very considerate, taking interest in her care. I like him very much as a provider, didn't rush and listened.
Dr. Levin was very helpful and listened to all the questions I had. I appreciated this very much.
Dr. Levin is wonderful. I couldn't ask for a better doctor.
always professional, helpful, exactly what one would think a doctor would do
I thought our doctor was good. I believe he listened what I had to say and had my son's best interest in mind. I would definitely see him again during walk-in hours.
We had a good experience. I was worried because her regular pediatrician has just retired. My daughter was being seen for a med check. This is the second medicine because the first one didn't work for her. Dr. Levin was patient and answered all my questions and concerns. I feel he took adequate time with her. We did not feel rushed at all.
I was not impressed with the doctor at this visit. He actually made me feel like we shouldn't have even come in. I felt like he wanted to ask if I was serious and he was so nonchalant about the whole situation. My child had a horrific amount of sand and dirt in his eye from an incident on the playground and his school actually called for me to get him and thought he needed to be seen. I also thought he should be checked out to make sure we got t all but also to be sure there weren't any scratches. The dr simply used a q-tip and got some of the sand out. Later that night and the next morning we were still getting sand out. I feel he should have irrigated my son's eye to thoroughly clean the sand out.
I love CCP and all of the staff working there. My children have been patients there for over 10 years.
The doctor did not say anything. He worked on the computer the entire time and after 10 minutes of silence, said that my son will be fine. Just rest. My son is an athlete - he had an injury. I did not want to take any chances with his arm as his finest sport season is coming up, thus the need for an appointment. I was made to feel that seeing the doctor was not necessary, almost to the point of humiliation. If this doctor is my only choice in the future, I will not make the appointment. No concern, no compassion, no respect.
