I felt as though he was not fully explaining the issue and the plan of action. I always feel neurosurgery thinks I am stupid and explains as little as necessary. I am in the medical field and understand basics. I want to understand the ENTIRE picture and not feel like I need to go home and use google scholar. I just wish I knew the plan further. I asked many questions and he answered them very well and definitely helped me understand much more than other providers in the past. I know he is constrained by time as well and he did spend adaquete time with her
our scheduled appt was for 9:00 am, the Dr was 35 mins late. I have a job to attend as well and if I was 15 mins late I would have to pay $25 no show fee. I get there are emergencies, but the Dr should put himself in the patients place and see that it is unacceptable to be that late, talk to us for 5 mins and move to the next patient. I could have been given the results that we got over the phone. I drove 40 mins to the appt, paid to park and waited for 40 mins to be seen. than drove 40 mins back home to go to work. I feel as a parent of a patient our time is not valued by the Dr. Just because he is a highly recommended Dr does not give him the right to disregard his patients time constraints, we have to follow his, so why does he not have to respect ours?
best doctor ever.
We can't enough about Dr. Tamber. We're more than pleased with the care he provides.
The experience was great, Everyone there in the office was wonderful and worked to get the job done quickly and efficiently;
Very comprehensive visit-questions answered-thorough exam
Dr. Tamber is an excellent surgeon. My son's neurosurgical needs are very complex, and Dr. Tamber's decisions and recommendations have made a very positive difference in his health. I am forever grateful for Dr. Tamber's surgical skills and good decisions.
Only bad thing was the wait time. Arrived at 825 for an 845 appointment. Vitals were done immediately and we were sent back to the waiting room. We were not taken to the exam room until 935. Then waited another 30 min to be seen.
MD and NP were knowledgable and answered aloo of our questions. Also explained our sons condition in a way we could understand.
Everyone we have come in contact with at this office, and MRI has been very professional and made the experience a positive one.
very good care!
Dr Tamber is a doctor that you as a parent know what he said during the visit is true. Plus you know from the way he talks to you that he is one of the best surgeons anyone could ask for.
Dr Tamber is an excellent physician. He has always taken his time to explain our son's condition and any questions we had about his condition/care. We are very pleased with his care and thank God we were blessed with him in our son's care. I know we answered about waiting for his appointments but this does not bother us in the least bit because the wait is worth it.
Excellent surgeon. His mannerisms are consistent with someone who is highly skilled and very good at what he does. He was personable enough.
The pa was very nice and so was the physician.
Everyone from receptionist desk to the physicians/practitioners were wonderful.
Dr. Tamber gave my son a chance for a normal life. We couldn't have asked for better care or a better outcome.
Dr. Tamber did not spend enough time with my son. I felt it was very impersonal and he wanted to rush out of the room. the nurses were much more helpful.
Please keep in mind-my child's medical issues have never been seen by doctor or others in immediate network-the doctors made this very clear so saying this they were completely honest and have as many questions as we do. The doctor I feel is working & researching, reaching out beyond to other medical facilities to find answers every chance he gets and on his own time-I think.
Dr. Tamber and his PA were wonderful
We liked Dr. Mandeep and trusted his judgement; he was very clear and concise with his plan of action for our daughter.
