very kind let me come to my appt after i was late 15 min
da phlibad was a great doctor. he looked into previous surgeries that iv had on mu eyes. he used this to give me the best outcome and remove scar tissue in my eyes. i will 100% recomend him. very friendly, polite and spoke 2 me in words that where laymen terms - which was easy 2 understand
Great personality, very professional
Very well visit. All issues we're addressed
dr was excellent and understood my concerns and promptly filled out some requested paperwork. much appreciated
Very comprehensive check up.
The doctor is very pleasant and easy to talk to. I like him very much. We will continue to see him.
This was my first visit to this care provider and I was so pleased with the care I received. Not only was the office staff so professional, but I felt as though I was receiving excellent care from all who did the testing needed. I was pleased with the doctor as he took time to explain all my care options.
extremely well-informed and helpful regarding my problem
The experience at the Eye and Ear Institute was great!
It was a good visit however I asked the doctor to contactThe pharmacy doctor for a liver transplant he acted like it was a big deal. I've been had to pick up my phone and call him myself.I get really upset when doctors refused to call other doctors and ask questions. Before you give my child a medicine it takes five minutes to contact another doctor. I wanted to second opinion and had to get it myself. Thank goodness for the wonderful people and staff on seven b.
I always feel the doctor is wonderful with my daughter's care.
Dr. Pihlblad is very good. He really takes the time to listen, and is very good with our daughter.
This provider is so thorough in his service and analysis every details regarding my son's health using a non medical language that everyone understand.
All three times I have been at the office, the doctor has pushed for surgery. Not once has he done any additional testing besides having my child read letters on a wall, and the frisbee test. He has not consulted our optometrist to see how well his vision has increased, nor has he asked how my son functions (besides how well he sees in the classroom). We have no issues in the classroom, he plays sports well-has no issues with catching a ball, so we are not sure why surgery seems to be the only option when depth perception doesn't seem to be affecting his daily life. I tried to have that conversation with the doctor and he seemed to act as if I was wasting him time. He also doesn't want to see us again if we aren't doing surgery.
all experiences were great this far
All information given by doctor is very helpful
We and almost all of the other patients in the waiting room waited for about 1.5 hours or more to be seen.
Dr. Pihlblad is amazing. He has helped us tremendously.
It was a good experience.
he was fantastic and explained everything.
The office was very efficient, I didn't need to wait for more than 5 minutes and my appointment was finished within an hour.
We were treated with respect. The whole experience was good!
Everything moved very smoothly and our child felt very comfortable with everyone we worked with.
The experience we had with the eye Dr, I apologize I can't recall how to spell his name, and the resident were great. I have no complaints
He has great bed side manner. Very knowledgeable and made us and our daughter comfortable while performing exams and doing everything with urgency and he seems to genuinely care about what she is going through and what we can expect in the next several months and years to come. very very impressed we are so happy and feel so blessed we got a second opinion using UPMC but more specifically with Dr. Matthew Pihlblad! thank you so much!
they did great job
I very much appreciated that he took the time to contact other specialists involved in my son's care and followed up with us promptly.
It was my child's first time visit with the doctor and I was happy with everything.
Dr Pihlblad is excellent!
very friendly and kid friendly
Great doctor, very professional, and excellent with small children.
we have been seeing this doctor for about a year, and I wouldn't ask for any other doctor!! absolutely wonderful!
Very nice doctors and staff! Absolutely love Children's Hospital!
I was very pleased with the doctor my child saw. He seemed very knowledgeable and friendly.
I have twins and Dr. Pihlblad now sees both of my children... he was able to recognize me and remember that I have been to his office. To me, that is incredible. He was able to recall the situation that my sons sister is going through and differentiate their diagnosis and go through the different treatment plans with me.
Dr. Pihlblad is a great doctor. we truly appreciate all that he has done. excellent clinician
The doctor was very good with both of my kids. He also took the time to explain what he saw with me and happily answered following questions. The nurse who did the beginning part of the vision testing was great with both of my children. She was very pleasant and worked well with a 7 and 10 year old who needed different levels of explanations and testing. It was a good experience for my children.
We were very satisfied with this office. They were very patient with us (it was past my 9 month old daughter's nap time). We did have to wait about 45 minutes beyond our scheduled appointment time, but after going through the appointment process, I can understand how busy and demanding this profession must be. Our nurse even helped to carry the car seat (which she did not have to do). Very friendly and helpful. The doctor was very informative and patient. Glad we chose this office.
We were placed in the exam room at 8:32 am after seeing the Ophthalmologist Assistant and we were not seen until 9:11 am by Dr. Pihlblad, and no one informed us that there would be a delay.
Excellent experience, very concerned about the ulcer on my child's eye wanted to see her in two days she was leaving a trip to Washington, DC. Told us to throw out contact lenses, solutions and cases because of the infection in her eye. He will know always be her eye doctor now.
this was our first visit with this provider and I think he was very good and answered all of my questions concerning my daughter.
