Melissa Richey is flippant and condescending.
made you feel comfortable- very good with my child
The provider was dismissive and didn't seem interested in hearing about my concerns for my child's health issues. Despite a history of ear problems, and common symptoms, she failed to clean out his ears to accurately diagnose an ear infection. Within hours of leaving the physician's office my child was complaining of an ear ache. I took him to the ENT the next day, where he was accurately diagnosed and treated.
provider listened well even though it was obvious that I felt silly bringing my child in given the circumstances. diagnosed pneumonia, so I'm glad I did even though he didn't seem "that sick".
wait time to see provider was over 45 min. wait time to receive vaccines was at least another 15 min.
The care provider on this visit did not listen to what we were saying at all with my daughters illness. She insisted there was some other cause for my daughters illness other than medical....stress, anxiety. She didn't listen to what me or my daughter said.
we were her last appointment of the day I overheard her in the hallway state this and say then I'm done! my son had a very red eye that had discharge etc and a sore throat and she basically said she didn't feel it was strep and sent us on our way. I asked her about his eye she said looks like a virus but barely looked at it. I asked her for a school excuse she said I had to go to the front desk (although every time I've ever gone before and after that I was always given from the doctors). I ended bringing my son back 1 day later and turns out he has an ear infection and pink eye. both the nurse and doctor were surprised she did not treat my son at least with eye drops on the initial visit.
Melissa is just wonderfully bright, caring and compassionate. Excellent Provider!
Melissa has such a great amount of information and has truly been an advocate for my son.
This provider had very good bedside manner, listened well, was knowledgeable, and helpfull.
We usually see Dr. Friedlander and he gives a lot of developmental information and this was lacking in this visit with Melissa Richey. This is my second child so that could be the reason but its always nice to get a heads up on what to expect and input on their progress.
Eveeything was excellent! Thank you!
she really listened to my daughter and explained things in a way she could understand. I truly feel as if we are a team
Melissa was wonderful. She listened closely, and was very respectful of my feelings, and provided helpful information.
waited over 1.5 houes to be seen 3 minutes. she barwly checks them then shoos you off this is every time we get her. She usually is wrong with diagnosis also
My daughter absolutely loves Melissa, she cooperated tremendously for her and gave her a huge hug when the visit ended.
wait times were definitely too long. took an hour and 15 minutes to be seen.
fantastic doctor with great personality and rapport with young pre-teens. my kids (twins-boy and girl) loved her. she put them at ease and that's hard when they know they need shots
Melissa was great. She took the time to listen and answer questions. She was patient and helpful. We are happy to have her as our provider.
Dr Ritchey is amazing and we are so blessed to have her.
everyone in this office is always extremely knowledgeable, kind, and spends as much time as needed.
Melissa is wonderful at interacting with my child and was very thorough in her exam. Her upbeat personality makes my daughter very comfortable with her.
Melissa is very skilled at talking with children.
Melissa Richey is a good nurse practitioner. She is "real" and gets the challenges of raising kids. She doesn't dismiss your concerns or worries and, on this visit, let us have a say in which antibiotic to give our youngest because of the challenges choosing one over another would present. She was clear about the pros and cons of each choice. She always makes the kids smile and handled 2 kids in one appointment well.
Thank you Melissa!
nothing bad overall have great service here!!
very outspoken. told us everything the way it is. good doctor.
The nurse we had at this visit is one that we have had in the past and I absolutely LOVE her! She is so nice an attentive and has excellent bedside manners. Also, the doctor was very nice and easy to talk to. She answered my questions and is definitely a doctor I will ask for if my favorite Dr. Frac isn't available.
I believe my son had excellent care. No complaints.
Great job. Keep up getting even better.
We've been going to this practice for a few years. This is the first time that I felt rushed through. I will request to see another physician in the future.
Melissa was by far the best provider that we have seen in this office. She was the first to show support for our desire to not medicate our child just because he had a fever and explained things about fevers that I had never heard (but were incredibly useful to know). She was wonderful and although I had made the decision prior to our visit to find a new office, I am now possibly staying if we are able to see Melissa at each visit.
Care provider was great.
my child got bitten by a tick and my fear of Lyme disease kicked in. my child has a speech delay and fine motor skills delay and the fear of him having to deal with that disease scared me. our doctor Melissa listened to my fears for my son and gave him an antibiotic for a just in case and I walked out of the office with a sense of relief that a doctor listened to my fears for my child and did everything she could to make the situation better.
I always find this office extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I've recommended numerous friends with new babies here.
