I truly appreciate the respectful way that my children were treated. The provider addressed concerns in a direct yet thoughtful manner that made them feel empowered to make some changes and not degraded or embarrassed.
We love Dr. Pam which is what my 4 and 2 year old call her. She 's great!! I love how sweet she is and she always remembers my girls when we are there and takes a genuine interest in them. She gives great advice and does not judge me for anything that I say. I truly think she is awesome! Thanks, Dr. Pam for always taking care of my daughters in the best way possible.
answered all questions and seemed genuinely interested in my child's health and gave us information on how to improve health habits
I did not feel that Pam Heald had a thorough understanding of my child's asthma diagnosis or the history. I feel it was important for her to have read his chart and seen how serious his asthma had gotten in December. I asked about allergies and she said she would "be ok with me seeing a pulmologist." As if I needed her blessing. if she had read his chart, he's been seen by pulmologist in December, January, and most recently with his admittance to Children's.
The provider was positive, knowledgeable and took time to explain things to my son and myself.
she was very patient and gentle which made my son who doesn't like new people actually interact with her and made the appointment pleasant!
Excellent care every visit
She really listened to what I had to say and took the time to discuss possible things she thought could be causing what was going on.
Did not care for this particular care provider, but still happy she was able to get a same day appointment
Pamela was great! She listened and talked through my concerns. My child felt so at ease and actually said she can't wait to go back to the doctor in one year. It was our first time at this practice and I have already recommended it to a friend.
PA seems to act like she knew my daughter but we have never seen her before. Made daughter uneasy. Didn't even acknowledge her not feeling good and when she told Dr about sore throat it was dismissed and dr only looked briefly at throat. Didn't ask any history of not feeling good recently. Guess it's a MedExpress appt in the future.
my daughter was seen immediately during morning walk in hours at the CCP office we go to normally, without having to make an appt, which was wonderful. We needed to make sure she didn't have strep and our caregiver and the staff was amazing as usual.
I felt like Pam Heard did not have the best bedside manner. I felt like she was degrading my parenting skills during this visit. As a new parent, i am still learning as I go and I left this visit very upset because I felt like she was judging me and treating me like a bad parent. everyone else at this practice has been wonderful to deal with so far.
upset that no flu swab was ordered said treatment wouldn't change if positive (which she was fortype a) that's reportable and Tamiflu helped mychild immensely .
My family absolutely loves CCP of Moon. We have always had a great experience there, rather the children were visiting for a well visit, or sick. Thank you all!
This provider needs to keep her personal opinions to herself and stick to objective information in her scope of practice.
We've had all good experiences with this provider, minus the waiting every single appointment. That's the only negative about the Moon office. All doctors and nurses have been wonderful and very helpful.
overall it was a good experience. I just wish you would stop pushing the Gardasil vaccination! I shouldn't have to argue about it every time my daughter is seen.
I asked for my child to be referred by the preferred name and not the name on file and both Mrs. Heald and our nurse Heather were wonderful and made my kids feel very comfortable!
Mrs. Heald is always kind and gentle and puts our children at ease during our visits. Thank you for taking the time with them to make them feel comfortable.
not our usual provider. and although she had reviewed the charts, she didn't know our children and our family dynamic as our normal provider does. Routine questions and recommendations came across almost judgmental. never had experienced that before from any of the staff at the practice, even when we didn't see our primary provider.
the particular issue relating to this NP is that she gave no regard/respect for what we as parent were telling her about our son's health. we needed a form filled out for a drivers permit and the lack of respect she showed to us as parents was not acceptable.
Pamela is wonderful. I greatly appreciate the time that she takes with my daughter and I. I feel very confident leaving the office after speaking with her.
My only criticism was that the provider forgot to call in both prescriptions (one oral, one ear drops) and so I had some inconvenience about needing to go back to the pharmacy.
Pam is easy to talk to and listens to you and/or your child's questions. i would recommend her to anyone
Pam was very friendly, professional & knowledgeable. My daughter felt comfortable with her which was huge considering the origin of issue we were there for. Pam was very respectful.
my child was being seen for a cold, cough & congestion. Pam Head did not listen to her chest until I asked her to. I give my children Hylands natural cold & cough medicine because it HELPS them. She told me to NOT waste my money & give them honey & vit C. She told me that 3 times. We waited 1 hour after our appt time to see her & she was awful. None of my kids will see her again.
Mrs. Heald is a wonderful provider and an asset to CCP
we love this office! everything is so friendly and helpful. we are always treated with the utmost respect. Pam is excellent. She listens to all concerns and addresses each one thoroughly. She is very easy to talk to and very understanding.
Very pleased with the way that my concerns were heard and a plan was put it place to address them. I really look forward to our next appointment.
I love this office but while we where there for possible strep we asked about a rash behind his ear it was never addressed
Pam was amazing! She's very compassionate and understanding. She had a sharp trained eye. she caught a slight curve in my daughter's back that could have been left unnoticed. She did a excellent job.
I always recommend this practice when people are looking for a pediatrician!
Doctor and assistant were both very attentive and kind during our visit.
thank you for your time and for looking at us when we speak. our last provider didn't ever do that.
overall experience was great for his first visit
The provider was great! My child tends to be skeptical and she generally eased him gently into the various aspects of the exam.
Ms. Heald was very concerned and caring for my child's welfare. She called twice with test results. She was wonderful.
With regards to Pamela Heald, I think you have a fabulous healthcare provider in your Moon office. This is our 2nd experience with Ms. Heald. On the first occasion (Spring 2016), we came after my daughter experienced a lingering fever. Even though the initial exam was inconclusive in diagnosing a specific illness, Ms. Heald used her medical experience and instinct to suggest a chest x-ray for pneumonia. She just felt like that was the culprit (and it was). I have 100% confidence in my visits with Ms. Heald!!
very thorough and helpful
the provider we saw discussed the medication with me but I could tell she was rushed. we had already waited about 45 minutes past my son's appointment time. I then went to the pharmacy a couple of hours later and they never got the prescription. I had to page the doctor on call to have her call in the prescription and go through multiple phone calls with the nursing staff. I was told the provider never completed her note about my son and never sent the prescription. she was rushed and behind schedule and my son's care suffered because of it.
will do everything I can to NOT see mrs. Heald for my childrens care.
She spent significant time providing information about my daughter's health as well as general life tips for a 16 year old teenager. I was VERY happy with this visit.
the wait time was extremely long. my only complaint.
