the care was excellent
Excellent care provided by Dr. Bosch.
I just felt slightly rushed with the dr. otherwise a good visit.
Dr. Bosch, was on time, thorough, answered questions. We felt very satisfied when we left the appt.
my child felt as if the provider did not listen to him. he felt as if he was cut off when speaking and that the provider did not listen to his concerns!!!
we love dr Bosch he is always friendly and very informative with his results his new nurse was amazing yesterday definitely recommend this office
the doctor was informative and honest when discussing care.
this was a follow up regarding the spinal fusion Dr. Bosch performed in September 2014. there has never been anything but exceptional care provided.
he was in a hurry even though it's part of who he is
Dr. Bosch seems to be a very good provider. He is just too fast in the rooms and doesnt spend enough time with his patients.
Seem like he was in a really big hurry and didn't want to answer any of my questions. Made me feel like my daughter was just a dollar sign to him and that he really didn't care. Poor bedside manner and I am a healthcare provider myself and find his bedside manner very deplorable
Dr. Bosch was friendly and direct. He was very knowledgeable about the topics that were discussed. Our son was very comfortable with him.
Dr. Bosch and his staff are outstanding individuals that treat their patients with care and attention that is needed.
Dr. Bosch rushed us through the appointment. While I appreciate not having a long wait, he was not in the exam room longer than 5 minutes. He was very short with us and wanted short answers in return. Overall, just not very personable, not the best bedside manner.
he did by thoroughly review the X-ray.... was looking for scoliosis and I had to point out other aspects of the X-ray.... after which he agreed
The Dr is very thorough and I'm am always satisfied with the care he provides!
Dr. Bosch always talks directly to my son and makes him feel like he is important in making his health decisions. He talks in a way that is easy for my son to understand. I have total faith in his ability to make the best medics decisions for my son.
excellent care, knowledge and understanding
Dr. Bosch was extremely helpful and thoughtful. He took the extra time to check on my daughter's ankle and back. I would highly recommend him to any child needing orthopedic care.
good he is a awesome dr
the doctor was extremely rushed. he acted like he had a million other things more important than listening to my daughter and myself. I will never go back to this doctor.
Dr. Bosch did the surgery on my sons arm. I'm we We are satisfied with my sons arm, but Dr. Bosch is very arrogant and condescending. He doesn't like when we as parents questioned him. we have never had a child endure a broken bone or had to go thru an operation and we wanted all the information and we questioned everything. I don't know if Dr Bosch felt we were questioning his ability but he was very short and abrupt with his answers. he would state what he felt was enough information and then he was standing beside the door and the next thing we knew he was gone. this happened with each visit, so It wasn't just him having a bad day, the day of the surgery, the day the splint came off and a cast was put on, the day the cast was taken off, and this last visit.
Dr. Bosch provided wonderful care for our daughter. He easily explained her condition and made our entire family comfortable.
First time going to this provider at Childrens main campus. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Pleasant staff and very good experience.
very good surgeon, very friendly, but definitely rushed through the question part and was walking out as I still was asking questions
The Doctor and Staff were very attentive.
very good, we like him a lot!
We thought Dr. Bosch was excellent. He gave us clear and easily understood information about our child's evaluation and all our related questions. We intend to return to him for any future Pediatric Orthopaedic issues.
he rushed us out didn't even let us really talk I know he's a doctor and he sees medical conditions every day but every waking moment of the day I spend with my daughter I see what's going on with her I see what happens with her leg and I know it's not normal
it was all good
I thought Dr. Bosch was awesome. He literally answered questions before I had to ask. Was very happy with him!
The staff at the office was helpful, informative, and kind to my son. We appreciate how quickly we were seen and how fast the staff worked.
Dr. Bosch took his time in explaining things, gave us options and listened to our input to form a plan for our daughter's treatment.
I felt the doctor was too rushed and did not provide a relaxed exam atmosphere
I think that Dr. Bosch and his staff is a very knowledgeable Dr. and they all have hearts of gold.
always thorough and on schedule!
he was very rude, didnt take the time to look at my son. was only in the room for 8 mins of his time. told us this is how he scheduled. never let us really explain why we where there. i have never been so disappointed in healthy care as i was when we saw him. Dr should take the time to see there patients instead of worry about what they will make off of them.
Appointment felt a little rushed but Dr was still thorough.
My daughter has a problem with her left knee dislocating. Dr Bosch got us in his schedule rather quickly. He did surgery on her left knee on 7 September 2018. We are extremely impressed with his knowledge, surgical skills and his courteous manners. Dr Bosch and his staff have been extremely awesome in handling my 15 year old daughters knee issues. He is a true God send for our family!!! Thank you Dr Bosch!!! We will continue to include him in our daughters health care, whenever needed.
Dr. Bosch is great with children one of the kindest we've met.
once we got back to the exam room the doctor came in in a timely manner. we waited about 15-20 minutes in the waiting room and only about 5 minutes in the exam room. I was not expecting to be seen so quickly with how busy the waiting room was. I'm very thankful to be seen so quickly
we were very happy with the care we received
The physician was very confident and kind. He was patient with our questions, and he quickly earned my trust.
This was a first visit, we just moved to PA. The provider listened, was knowledgeable, and was quick, but thorough.
Dr. Bosch illustrated (literally, on paper) what was wrong with our child's knee and set our worries and concerns at ease.
Dr. Bosch was very thorough and explained all his concerns / non-concerns. He got input from my child and treated him with respect.
Dr. Bosch is the best! He doesn't beat around the Bush. he is straight to the point and if you do everything he tells you it will work. I had just had my daughter and we had her in his office because of her hips, he was amazing. he reinforced that he would give her the best and he was right!
Dr. Bosch is very knowledgeable, but rushes things sometimes, and dismissed concerns at times. My daughter had a mark on her leg after surgery that was no where near the site of incision and it had some numbness. When I asked him about it, he didn't know and said that they didn't do it, yet it wasn't there prior to surgery. I was not accusing at all, I just wanted to simply know what caused it.
Dr. Bosch and his staff are always excellent.
Dr Bosch was quick to give us his opinions, a bit arrogant with his answers to our questions. He was in and out of the room fairly quickly after telling us he suggests our daughter receives a brace for scoliosis at 16 he's a day for 1.5 years for a 26 degree curve. That is extremely excessive in our opinion and we will be going for a second option.
Dr. Bosche is always professional and helpful with our visits.
I really like and trust him thus far. He is very knowledgeable and considerate. I feel confident in his care at this point.
Dr Bosch treated my daughter respectfully and was available for any questions we had. We felt reassured after the follow up visit.
he didn't take the time to fully understand her activities, even after I explained them. the whole appointment felt very rushed
He only spent 2 mins in room and before he ran out of the room, I asked him if there was any special cream I could put on her skin that was peeling and he said he was an orthopedic surgeon and knew nothing about creams and that his wife doesn't even trust him to dose tylenol to his kids....
Dr. Bosch is always very personable to my son and treats him with respect. He engages him in conversation about mutual topics of interest. My son has always looked forward to visits with Dr. Bosch.
We had a great experience.
I have always been very happy with the office in general but have always seen other doctors. I WILL NEVER see Dr Bosh again. He was rude and arrogant not only to me but also to my 14 year old son. I personally do NOT CARE what letters after your name someone has worked hard to earn, that does NOT make it acceptable for rid and UNPROFESSIONAL behavior. I will tell you if my child EVER treated anyone the way this Doctor obviously felt he had the right to do I would be MORTIFIED.
I felt although he gave reasonable explanations he was very quick. he quickly moved my sons leg around in motions very painful to my son. my son has not been able to lift his leg more than 2 inches and he moved it to his chest causing extreme pain at that time and into the next day. he did not ask any questions regarding range of motions or abilities. I called the doctors secretary asking for a return call because I was furious this morning and he was in pain. at 7pm I have not received a return
I really appreciated Dr. Bosch's demeanor and the way he provided medical recommendations. He showed a real understanding of our situation and his recommendations made sense. He was thoughtful and thorough without being alarmist.
seemed annoyed we were there. Told us he didn't specialize in this area so we felt it was a wasted trip.
Dr. Was very nice and knowledgable, but seemed to be in a bit of a hurry.
Dr. Bosch seemed to be in a hurry and rushed us. We were there to see him for a scoliosis consult and he cut me off during any of my questions and stood by the door with his hand on the knob while I was still trying to get into. The entire visit was only about 3 mins, too short for a first time appt. He didn't bother asking any medical history questions of my my daughter or her family. We will not be returning to see this Dr.
We had full confidence in Dr. Bosch's abilities to properly care for our daughter. He is personable, caring and extremely knowledgeable in his field. However, his patient relationships could be improved if he could slow down a little bit...we often felt rushed. He also provides explanations at a very fast pace, so people without a medical background would have a hard time comprehending everything.
The wait time could've been better. Waited almost 45 mins before being seen.
The doctor was very professional, considerate, understanding, and kind.
We have now seen this provider Three times in relation to my daughters knee starting 4 years ago. At each visit he is short , condescending. The first time he told us it was growing pains and that she will grow out of it. When it didn't go away we again went to see Dr.Bosch and this time he proceeded to tell us it's due to over use due to my daughters activities such as dance , basketball, softball. Finally die to my daughters extreme discomfort in her knee I took her to her pediatrician at which clearly saw there was a problem for a 9 year old to be having so many issues with her knee they ordered a MRI. MRI results came back as a Baker's cyst at that time we were told that we would need to make a appointment to find out treatment options. We were told we did not have to unless her knee was causing her more discomfort at which time we did. Now to the latest visit . He as in Dr Bosch assessed her knee and she said it hurt and then he said there is nothing I can do for you it will go away in two years when my husband said it's been four and the Dr looked at her records and said oh yeah it has. If I do surgery it will just make it worse. And said I'm done you can go to the front desk. no other options to help my daughter no treatment plan nothing. So dissatisfied.
We loved Dr. Bosch, he made a personal connection with my child and then he delivered specific next steps and why. Best I could have hoped for.
our family is excited and proud to have Dr Bosch as our son's Doctor
Dr. Bosch did an excellent job explaining our options for my child. He listened and was extremely professional. He seems very competent and answered all of our questions.
all positive experiences with children's hospital
My daughter has hip dysplasia. Dr. Bosch is always great at explaining exactly what's going on and pulling up previous xrays to show us progress. I always feel informed when i leave. The bad, which is no one's fault, is that more likely than not she'll need to have surgery on both hips next year.
Dr.Bosch performed surgery on my daughter at children's hospital. it was the first experience we've had at children's and he was so amazing and reassuring. When we came back for the follow-up, he was quick and thorough. I feel very comfortable with his decisions regarding my daughter and I like how he would explain things to her. Also, the nurse that took us to the room was wonderful with Logan and I was surprised how pleasant the receptionist were and how willing to help they were. Thank you for everything.
I was very pleased with Dr Bosch and his staff. I would definitely recommend.
Dr. Bosch was very easy to communicate with and easy to understand. He was compassionate and very knowledgable.
Dr was a bit more pleasant than he usually is. The nurse that is with him though, not so much. She makes my daughter very uncomfortable.
He was a excellent Dr. He let me know everything I needed to know.
we had nothing but good experience with the provider / was helpful courtesy and overall excellent
Dr Bosch was very reassuring about my son's recovery.
Dr Bosch was friendly with my child when examining her. however he was very arrogant and degrading when speaking to me. stating, "your daughter's injury does not warrant seeing an orthopedic surgeon." Also stating, "she has sever's disease and just needs to learn to deal with it."
We traveled 2 hours to only be seen for less than 10 minutes by the doctor. I don't feel completely confident with what he told us after his quick examination. He asked my son to take a few steps and touched his back in 2 spots. I didn't feel validated completely in our concerns. I will obviously will bring my son back for follow up but hoping for more time with the doctor.
Everyone was very professional but personable. We left feeling informed about Faith's condition and what we needed to do next. Dr. Bosch made Faith feel comfortable and less nervous.
Our daughter found Dr B to be kind reassuring. He spoke to her as the patient which I found refreshing. He was funny. We are 100% satisfied with our initial visit at CHP main and this follow up visit for orthopaedic care in Monroeville.
We felt rushed, condition my daughter was diagnosed with wasn't explained thoroughly...we were basically told "back pain sucks, you will just have to get used to it..." and that additional pain she is experiencing is in her head. We will be seeking another opinion...
Dr. Bosch is always straightforward about the care he recommends for my child. I appreciate his thorough knowledge of my child's case and continued care.
I want to thank the doctor for listening and answering my questions. I appreciate the time he took.
We really like Dr. Bosch.
Dr Bosch was not friendly at all. Did not take the time to listen to my daughters concerns. I felt like we were very rushed and we were being a complete waste of his time. I will not be going back to him or recommending him to anyone.
very good provider i recommend to my friends
I have always been very pleased with Dr. Bosch, his staff and all staff at Children's during our visits.
my daughter is still having pain and all he can say it is because she is flat footed
The Doctor took TIME and CARED about why we were there. That is VERY important to a parent.
everything was good from beginning to end
Dr. Bosch diagnosed the problem immediately after a few months of pain he knew right away what the problem was.
this doctor was not personable and seemed impatient with our questions.
I was impressed with the promptness of the visit and with the courteousness of each staff member we encountered.
Dr. Bosch is direct and to the point. He answered all questions we had. He appears very efficient. We would definetly recommend him to others.
Dr. Bosch was excellent! Thanks so much for the great care.
Dr Bosch and his staff are extremely courteous, professional and helpful. Dr Bosch is very good with his patients and parents. He spent as much time as we needed to get a clear understanding of my son's condition and answered all of our questions. helping us to make a decision about his care.
staff is always kind.
Dr Bosch has been an excellent provider. he takes his time to explain results and the progress of our child's condition. he and his secretary are prompt in returning my calls and answering my questions. they take my concerns seriously.
I wasn't impressed with his attitude towards what was going on with my daughter and her knees
Really liked Dr Bosh. He had a great bed send manner and made my daughter and I very comfortable discussing her condition. Lijed the fact that he was confident in his dx and did not send us for additional, unnecessary testing.
My kids have been to Dr. Bosch for multiple reason and every time he's wonderful, explains every possible way of correcting and the outcome of each. He does phenomenal work when kids needs surgery and is excellent with follow up.. Both my kids see him on regular basis due to hip issues. I wouldn't go to anyone else even for a broken bone.
We were very happy with Dr Bosch and staff.
We transferred to Dr Bosch from a previous provider that was absolutely excellent because we moved. We need to get used to Dr Bosch since his demeanor is different. He kind of left our child's treatment up to us and let us continue with the treatment she had been given at the previous doctor. I would have appreciated more of his professional opinion based on his experiences with children similar to my child's diagnosis as well as considered my child's specific medical history.
I was pleased with the visit and the care she received.
Always excellent service at Dr. Bosch's office.
Dr. Bosch gave us multiple ways to get in touch with him,if we have any questions. He has made my son less worried about the 2nd surgery that he has to have.
dr Bosch was amazing. truly one of the best dr experiences we've ever had.
he was excellent
quick and courteous staff, very knowledgeable Doctor, office very clean
Did not accurately know the age of my child so initial advice given was inaccurate. He assumed my child was my "first born." So, he insinuated that I was overreacting to a medical concern. He shut down my concerns about my daughter and told me my observations "had nothing to do with her condition". Dr. Bosch made me feel foolish for having brought my daughter to his office. I would not recommend him as a provider to anyone.
even though thee provider provided us with the reasons on how he went upon deciding how to treat my daughter, I wish he would have done a thorough exam for this is the reason she was referred to him. yet it seemed like he either was fully booked or in a hurry on that day.
Dr. Bosch came to us in those last minutes before surgery with a more invasive approach to treating her hip injury. from the moment he walked through the door he was very supportive, straight forward and very professional. The office staff is equally amazing with great knowledge in their field. It makes a mother's head rest much easier knowing their child is receiving the most quality of care.
Dr. Bosch was knowledgeable and friendly. He answered our questions carefully and spent a good amount of time with our child. I would highly recommend him.
As was the case when Dr Bosch treated our son in the past, Dr Bosch carefully explained our sons's ankle injury in a way that we could all understand and made sure that our son was included in all treatment discussions. He had already reviewed the imaging results from the ER and was extremely well prepared. Dr Bosch took the time to listen to all of our concerns and questions and explained everything in detail and with consideration and empathy. Dr Bosch also made sure that we were able to schedule a follow-up appointment at the most appropriate time, even during the busy holiday season. Although our son's injury was more severe than we had initially suspected, we all felt better about the treatment plan and next steps after meeting with Dr Bosch. He also took the time to make sure that our son was comfortable using his boot and crutches, to ease his transition back to school that same day.
This was this fastest visit with this doctor. Usually wait a long time. I appreciated my time being just as valuable as his.
Dr. Bosch always talks to my son about his care which is important. He does not feel like he's just sitting in listening to the doctor and I talking, but is spoken to directly about his care. Dr. Bosch will always see my son immediately if he's worried something is wrong, and naked him feel like the most important part of his recovery.
Dr. Bosch was wonderful to work with. He took the time to talk to both myself and my son about his arm. He answered any questions and addressed any concerns I had regarding the surgery and recovery.
The care provided before, during, and after my daughter's surgery could not have been better. I am a nurse, not well versed on the type of surgery she had, but work in a surgical ICU for adults. I could not be more pleased with her care, pain control, and kindness of all those we have come in contact with.
My child tore her ACL on November 23, 2017. Surgery is not scheduled until February 2, 2018. We have noted concerns about surgery being so far off. We have requested it soon so that our child can begin to heal quicker. This was not approved by Dr. Bosch.
We had a very good experience with Dr.Bosch. My son also sees Dr.Forno from Children's Hospital and I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Children's Hospital. Thank you for providing a child friendly, caring environment.
We have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Bosch and staff.
Dr. Bosch was very knowledgeable and helpful. He knew what he was talking about and knew how to help our son. He was serious when talking about our son's injury and what needed to be done to help him but was able to make us laugh in light of the situation. Would highly recommend this doctor.
Dr. Bosch was very prompt, kind, and explained everything thoroughly. my son said he is nice.
He is great and personable. He relates well with the children. my daughter really liked him as well.
Dr. Bosch had her do different things to assess the condition of her knee. He knew exactly what to do to figure out what was wrong with it. He has always been the one we go to when she needs this type of care.
for meeting our daughter for the first time he did very well.
i felt like we were a bother to the dr. i really never got an exact prognosis of my child's knee, and wasn't very personablexray techs, and nurses were great.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Bosch has help a lot be we still have a long way to go.
The Dr was wonderful!!!
I always feel confident with the treatment that is recommended by Dr. Bosch.
Our experience at our son's visit was amazing. (It was definitely worth the wait and 3 1/2 hour travel time) Dr. Bosch answered our questions and concerns regarding our son. If we have any further issues or concerns we will definitely be making another appointment to see this Physician. Thank you very much, Dr. Bosch.
Dr. Bosch was great. His personality messed greatly with his ability to deliver the medical attention and knowledge we needed.
amazed at flow of check in procedures to time I saw MD. very smooth, I did not have to wait long at all. very organized
Dr. Bosch always very informative during visits. We feel confident in his care.
my grandson fell out a window everyone at the hospital was just wonderful and in just under 2 months he is completely healed
The nurses were great, the physician was the problem especially for someone treating children. He was abrupt, rude, didn't listen or treat myself or my child with respect. He literally said over and over, "I don't care."
Dr. Bosch was very efficient and succinct.
He was very well spoken and helpful.
This was a follow up appt for a re check on his broken clavicle. Therefore they would not have had my child's full medical records. We had a great experience at this facility. Everyone was very pleasant, and our total time there was under an hour. very impressed
The only part of the appointment that I didn't appreciate was that Dr. Bosch kept saying, "Don't over think it." Not a very sensitive phrase to tell a concerned parent. Made me feel like I was just being a paranoid, over-concerned parent rather than listening to my concern and showing some level of understanding for my concern, even if his foot was fine - which was good news!
The doctor wasn't doing a great job of making my daughter and I feel better about our situation. He was very abrupt and straight with us and not giving us much hope that my daughter will get better.
We could not have asked for more competent or compassionate care. We are grateful that Dr Bosch and his staff have taken care of our daughter.
Dr. Bosch seemed annoyed or frustrated by having to see my child. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I didn't bring my child to the doctor for no good reason. We live very far from his office and needed to make this appointment before the beginning of school. His office was the only one available. We traveled 40 minutes to see him only to have him say he was the wrong person to see. I am very understanding of individual situations, as I work in social services, and I know things out of my control can happen. I believed I was very honest and forward about what my child needed with everyone before this appointment was made. Our situation should have been known and dealt with before coming to his office. Since we did see him in his office he should have shown more respect for my child by not treating us as an annoyance.
wait time was over 30 minutes
I would not see Dr. Bosch again. He is probably a very good doctor, but had no bed side manner for children. He was very matter-of-fact and did not show much interest in my child or what I had to say regarding his foot. It was as if we werr wasting his time. The other staff was excellent!
Dr Bosch was very short with my child. He was in and out of the room very fast. I was still asking the Dr questions and concerns about my child and the Dr was opening the door and in the hallway as I still had questions. Was not professional.
Foe working with pediatrics, i dis not feel that doctor was warm or welcoming. he seemed in a hurry. He was very short and quick with his words. i had to interupt him in order to speek.
The office was very quick did not have to wait long time in weighting room. the Dr. answered all questions and everything went well.
Dr Bosch is an outstanding doctor and makes the parent and child comfortable and feel good about the diagnosis. He has great bedside manners. I would recommend him for any orthopedic issues.
Dr. Bosch provided a great experience in taking care of my son's broken bone. He explained what needed to be done to help him heal, and took the time to answer all of our questions.
very good at what he does and very professional-he could take the time to explain things more thoroughly but he does his job and that's all I can ask for
Provider rushed through the appointment. I wouldn't choose this provider again for my child. We did appreciate getting in to see the provider on a day's notice.
The staff was terrific and very timely.
very efficient and an excellent surgeon and prompt to reply
Dr Bosch is an excellent physician and I would recommend him to anyone that needs surgery
Dr. Bosch speaks in terms that I can understand and explains and re-explains patiently, if necessary. I have a lot of respect for him.
The doctor and nurse were both exceptional.
Doctor sat and talked with us and answered all of our questions at length. This has helped us clarify whether or not she should have surgery. Very important to have that level of attention to this matter.
we are very pleased with dr Bosch performing my daughters upcoming surgery!
I felt very rushed by the doctor. As I was asking questions I received very short answers both times we saw him as he was walking towards the door. my son had an accident and I needed the doctors time to explain any restrictions that he had or that could be lifted. I felt as if this should have been normal things that a doctor covers. the assistant had to leave the room and go get the doctor a second time so I could ask the rest of my questions. this left me very frustrated.
The experience was good. The doctor explained everything and suggested we see another doctor who specializes in the type of injury my son has.
The doctor was dismissive.
I was very disappointed with the time spent and overall quality of the examination regarding my son's condition. The examination of his head and neck was minimal and he dismissed my concerns and possible treatment options that did not involve surgery
The visit was quick I was in and out of the office with in an hour
we waited for Dr Bosch for an hour and a half, ridiculous! He then spent about 5 minutes with us, and ran out of the room basically, I still had many unanswered questions. extremely disappointing experience!
I could not believe that I called at 7am because my child had been injured in a hockey game in Detroit over the weekend and I was seeing the doctor by 8:50am the same day!!!
