The doctor was very caring and knowledgeable and gave us information regarding her diagnosis that gave us sufficient info to make a good decision
This was our first time visiting the provider. She was wonderful. Took time explaining things to my son on a level that he was able to understand.
My son LOVES this doctor!! She is very patient and understanding even with issues not related to the visit.
Overall very positive experience.
We were glad to find such a knowledgable doctor
Appreciated that my child was addressed and acknowledged during the visit even with the level of adult conversation needed
Dr. Pushpa went out of her way to consult with my neurologist before even seeing me on a low calcium problem. then hejped get me in her busy schedule to be seen. i Thank her for this.
Dr. Viswanathan is wonderful! She truly knows her patients and is very caring - she takes an interest in the whole being of the child not just the diabetes. I recommend her to everyone in our area looking for a provider.
very accommodating for scheduling appointments. very kind and thoughtful when meeting for appointments. connects with child in a meaningful way. very responsive through portal. challenge with responsiveness of care team over phone. seems as though coordination of communication is very siloed within hospital network.
Dr. Viswanathan was patient, sensitive, and reassuring.
Dr. Viswanathan is fantastic.
dr. Viswanathan is wonderful. she is so knowledgeable and friendly! my favorite thing about her is that she really explains the treatment and answers our questions thoughtfully and with good cheer.
This visit was a REFERRAL VISIT from my teen's PCP to rule-out any endocrine disorder possibly being associated with my teen's current health problems (which this visit did). From the time of sign-in until the time upon completion of my teen's visit; everything went smooth and well in our UPMC Office Visit.
Spent vast majority of time during appointment waiting for either the staff or the provider. Spend more time waiting than actually speaking with anyone.
dr. V was very nice and comforting. super lady! wish she was my neighbor
She is clearly very knowledgeable and I appreciate the way that she explains things to me and my son. She puts him at ease, but does not make him feel like a younger child. She is one of the best providers we have seen.
My child visits every three months. we have ALWAYS been treated with the utmost respect and it is obvious how much the entire staff truly cares about my son.
we had a great experience. Dr. was very kind, listened
Doctor was very informative and patient.
My son was had a great experience! He absolutely loved Dr. Viswanathan.
Dr. Viswanathan always takes her time with my son. I never feel rushed. She always listens to our questions and responds with care. I believe she genuinely cares for my son's well-being and goes out of her way to provide quality care for him.
Very concerned and took their time with my son.
great visit, for the first time in a long time my child was comfortable seeing the dr.
Dr. Viswanathan gave very clear explanations and information. I liked that she preferred not to run diagnostic tests (yet) that would expose my daughter to radiation, and I liked that she asked if I was comfortable with a "watchful waiting" approach. I felt very included and empowered about next steps.
I absolutely love our physician! When we went to schedule our next 3 month visit her schedules were full. I would suggest looking at opening up the schedule more than 3 months in advance or the schedulers calling us from a call list. Dr. Viswanathan went out to the desk and was able to open up 2 additional clinic days and we were able to schedule before we left. I recommend her to everyone. She is very caring and knows her patients!
Childrens is An amazing place and I feel like I learn more about my children's conditions each time we come
I was quite pleased with the extra time the provider took to speak to my daughter regarding her mental health. My daughter has been living in a residential treatment facility for the last year and has been very instable. The provider was very encouraging with my daughter.
I give Dr Pushpa Viswanathan the highest respect. she has help my daughter more than I can say in a survey. I am truly thankful! my child was given her childhood back and has return to full health. my daughter now has much to look forward to in life. Thank you Dr Viswanathan!
She took time to address my daughter who is very shy with new people. Thank you.
Dr. Viswanathan takes a very straightforward yet sensitive approach. We appreciated her thoroughness and the way in which she spoke with our daughter.
The Dr. is very nice and very helpful. She wasn't is a rush to get out of the room. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. The nurse he had was very nice.
Dr. Viswanathan has been our endocrine provider since our child was diagnosed with Type I diabetes. She is a most excellent doctor and, despite the reasons we need to see her on a quarterly basis, she has been a pleasure to visit with whenever we have had our appointments. While we do have the option of seeing someone else associated with her practice group especially in the interest of scheduling, we still prefer to have our child seen by Dr. Viswanathan.
The doctor was very good at understanding my daughter's medical history and our family history. She took time to ask my daughter and myself questions, appropriately engaging and encouraging my daughter. She was very professional but friendly.
Very pleased with Dr Viswanathan's thoroughness. The assistant had not removed my daughter's hair clip when taking her height. Dr. Viswanathan caught it, rechecked the height and got an accurate measurement which prevented us from needing more tests, having more anxiety, and spending more time. My daugter's growth was normal, not abnormal. What a relief to have an accurate and thorough doctor to work with!
She took extra time to calm some fears my child has about an upcoming test. Really explained to him what was going to happen, step by step, and took the time to make sure HE understood as well as me.
Dr. Viswanathan was very attentive and listened to everything that was in response to her questions or in answer to our questions. She spoke in a way that both my daughter and I could understand easily.
The NA that drew my son's blood sample was excellent as was her assistance. He does not like his annual blood draw. They did an excellent job in keeping him calm and performing the procedure quickly and accurately. Dr. Viswanathan was also very helpful in explaining the changes to his sliding scale, especially since it took me a few tries to process the information.
Loved the doctor. She was very thorough!
Dr. Viswanathan is an excellent doctor who makes my daughter feel very comfortable. She takes her time and develops a relationship with all of us which makes our visits more pleasurable. We have a tremendous amount of respect for her and see her as a caring individual.
Dr. Viswanathan always treats me with respect and compassion and is truly concerned with my health and my well being. very personable and kind.
we live Dr V. she makes my son who has anxiety feel calm. he adores her as do we. she has been amazing in helping my son through his delayed puberty calming me and my son down.
Both Dr. Viswanathan and the PA Haley White were professional, thorough, and kind to my daughter, who was very scared about the appt. They explained everything very well to me and my husband.
