Docyor was very engaged with us and concerned about all we discussed. She offered extra helpful advise.
Dr.V is very understanding and caring. She went the extra mile to help my son obtain his medication. I will always appreciate her help and expertise.
best doctor ever- very knowledgeable and able to communicate to us issues with our daughter
My daughter, Rachel and I said that we really like our doctor.
Dr. Viswanathan remains a trusted, professional, thoroughly valued member of Lily's health care team. Thank you!
She is always the best and we love her.
Dr V professional and caring
All of the medical staff treated me professionally and I did not feel rushed.
The Endo clinic at Children's seems to run like clockwork! Everything was very smooth, we had almost no waiting time at all (for either the appointment or the x-ray afterward), the staff members were very friendly, and it felt like the doctor took all the time in the world to answer every last question. This was a great experience.
My child simply adores Pushpa Viswanathan. He took to her from his very first visit in October of 2015 when he was first diagnosed. She takes her time at our visits, listens and talks to him directly about his concerns as well.
I really like the dr. she is knowledgeable and doesn't push to complete treatment. she is willl to monitor the situation and go with the least restrictive.
Dr Pushpa is excellent. She spends time and explains things.
Dr. Viswanathan is a wonderful Dr. She listens to you and takes her time. She never has made us feel like she is in a hurry to get to someone else.
Best experience in general. the time was taken to make my daughter feel comfortable and to understand the medical condition, actions needed to improve and the steps to take to achieve goal. extremely satisfied with the care my daughter is receiving for her condition.
Great place and great people.
Dr. Viswanathan is a wonderful doctor. My husband and I have been very pleased with our son's care from her. She has a very good raport with our son.
Her doctor is extremely informed of my daughter's health history and always helpful and very patient will all questions we have.
Dr. Viswanathan is a consummate professional and also a highly sympathetic provider. She has a good rapport with my daughter, and I should think with other teenagers as well.
she is wonderful
Our doctor for this visit was exceptional. thank you!
This time we met with the nurse practitioner prior to meeting with the dr. She was very easy to understand, helpful, understanding and encouraging.
the Dr and staff were very efficient and professional. we were very pleased
The doctor is exceptionally attentive and has an outstanding supportive bed side manner.
Dr. Visawanathan was patient with my 8 year old's frequent questions, spoke privately to me so as not to alarm my child, and explained the medical nuances in plain terms.
There was an assumption that mom was the biological mom and questions asked with child present were not appropriate. For these types of appointments that involve in-depth questioning about pregnancy and family history, there should be an opportunity for the parent and doctor to speak privately before the appointment without the child present. There are situations where the child is adopted and unaware of this.
looking forward to future relationship with provider
The staff as well as phlebotomy made my child feel at easy and explained to her what they were going to do. The staff even treated her "stuffed friends" so that she felt more at easy and not nervous. As busy as the staff was they still took time to talk, explain, and make my child feel comfortable. Great Job!!
excellent doctor and service.
WE love dr Vishwanothan (sp). She is just the best Dr we could ever hope to have.
I couldn't ask for a better health care provider than Dr. Vaswanathan. She's excellent because she cares.
she is very caring and concerned for my health and well being
Dr. V was excellent helped relieved anxiety my son had been feeling and offered good compromise.
Pushpa A Viswanathan was great and we would recommend her to others!
This was our first time visiting the provider. She was wonderful. Took time explaining things to my son on a level that he was able to understand.
The doctor was very caring and knowledgeable and gave us information regarding her diagnosis that gave us sufficient info to make a good decision
My son LOVES this doctor!! She is very patient and understanding even with issues not related to the visit.
Overall very positive experience.
We were glad to find such a knowledgable doctor
Appreciated that my child was addressed and acknowledged during the visit even with the level of adult conversation needed
Dr. Pushpa went out of her way to consult with my neurologist before even seeing me on a low calcium problem. then hejped get me in her busy schedule to be seen. i Thank her for this.
Dr. Viswanathan is wonderful! She truly knows her patients and is very caring - she takes an interest in the whole being of the child not just the diabetes. I recommend her to everyone in our area looking for a provider.
very accommodating for scheduling appointments. very kind and thoughtful when meeting for appointments. connects with child in a meaningful way. very responsive through portal. challenge with responsiveness of care team over phone. seems as though coordination of communication is very siloed within hospital network.
Dr. Viswanathan was patient, sensitive, and reassuring.
Dr. Viswanathan is fantastic.
dr. Viswanathan is wonderful. she is so knowledgeable and friendly! my favorite thing about her is that she really explains the treatment and answers our questions thoughtfully and with good cheer.
This visit was a REFERRAL VISIT from my teen's PCP to rule-out any endocrine disorder possibly being associated with my teen's current health problems (which this visit did). From the time of sign-in until the time upon completion of my teen's visit; everything went smooth and well in our UPMC Office Visit.
Spent vast majority of time during appointment waiting for either the staff or the provider. Spend more time waiting than actually speaking with anyone.
dr. V was very nice and comforting. super lady! wish she was my neighbor
