Biography

Research Interests

Dr. Windreich's clinical research is focused on individualizing therapy, to move away from the "one size fits all" approach in order to tailor therapies to a person's own individual metabolic needs. His aim in doing so is to optimize dosing for medications used for graft-versus-host disease prevention and treatment in addition to those used for antifungal prophylaxis.

Other research interests:

  • Chemotherapy pharmacokinetics in pediatric bone marrow transplant patients
  • Novel non-myeloablative conditioning regimens for pediatric patients with high risk leukemias
