It's great to go into an doctor office for your child and feel that he is as important as any other child. I felt like even though it wasn't very long time it was enough time spent to get information, have my child looked over, and still time for questions without feeling like they were rushed or we were being rushed in and out. Dr Fenton was nice, friendly, knowledgeable and caring.
Regina was direct, efficient, and thorough. She described everything in relatable and understandable terms and answered all of my questions.
I was very impressed with Regina and the physical therapist in the evaluation. They were knowledgeable and took their time with my daughter.
My son was referred by his pediatrician for an evaluation of a flat spot on his head. His appointment was for 230 and we waited at least 45 minutes before being seen. Regina spoke very fast, unclear if she was rushed by being behind or if this is how she always is. I felt that the appointment was not personalized to my son. It sounded as if she was reciting the same speech she gives every single family that she sees each day. Her evaluation was quick, which I understand needs to happen when dealing with cranky babies, but almost too quick. She recommended a helmet for our child and physical therapy for torticollis. Let it be known that I myself am also a CRNP. My child does not have torticollis. I was given the impression that every child who goes in there comes out with a script for a helmet and a diagnosis of torticollis. The entire experience was very generic, and like I said, felt very impersonal. On his script for the helmet, it states "failed repositioning". We never even discussed repositioning or anything in regards to positioning other than where my son sleeps at night. Again, another generic blanket statement that I'm sure is on every script. I was not very satisfied with our visit, especially since this was our first experience with CHP who has such a great reputation.
We loved Regina. she did an excellent job handling our 6 month old daughter and explaining everything to us about her requiring a helmet

Regina was prepared when she examined my son. After reviewing his medical file prior to his appointment was a huge help. She had everything perpared regarding informational paperwork for me, as well as daycare. She also made me feel better as a parent stating that it was nothing I did wrong to cause my son's condition.
The provider was no more helpful than the internet. She gave us the information but didn't help to personalize it to our child or situation. We felt she had her mind made up before she even assessed our daughter and made several blanket statements about "moms and dads" and how "they" feel about helmets but never took the time to ask us how we felt. We are well aware of how cosmetic our issue is compared to other children's problems, but we still traveled to Children's to see a specialist and left feeling no more informed than we were before.
We were VERY PLEASED with Regina Felton's professionalism. She teamed with Susan Gaetani to read reports and look at x-rays to chart a plan of action for our child. We are so thankful for this dynamic duo and their attention to our child as well as addressing our questions and concerns.
overall it was a good experience from start to finish- our first time at Children's- all great things!
I know that Regina sees many children with my child's problem, but during the appointment I felt that she was just giving me the usual spiel that she's given a million times. And the appointment felt very rushed.
I feel like the provider was excellent however she seemed very rushed, like she had 5 'unites to spend with us and had to keep moving, I'm sure it's just scheduling and productivity standards. I just feel it's sad that health care workers are so pressed all the time. she however was very nice and explained her evaluation process and results well
She was very kind, polite, and thorough. We were very satisfied with her care and interaction with us and our child.
I was satisfied with the care, but she did seem a bit rushed. I appreciate getting right to the point, but the visit was very fast and I was left feeling a little overwhelmed with the amount of information received vs. the length of time we were there. Also, I felt like we had to ask a lot of questions to fully understand everything we needed to understand.
Great experience with Regina. She took time and listened to our concerns. She was very thorough in her exam. She was very helpful to us in identifying our next steps.
Regina was amazing. She was very thorough and you could feel her sincere interest for my child and our concerns. She was very friendly and easy to work with. I will definitely recommend her.
Loved the nursing staff, Children's hospital lobby and suite area. Also loved the visit/doctor etc.
