I am forever grateful for Dr. Greene and all of the UPMC Childrens staff for saving my sons life.
I feel as the doctor was very knowledgeable about what she was talking about but feel i was left pretty much clueless and very undecided about a decision i had to make about my child's health. We had to choose between 2 surgeries and it was the hardest decision i ever had to make. Wish we could have discussed it more. When it came down to it i picked the surgery i thought would be easier for my child. Now I'm doubting myself because the surgery is done but it isn't right and my son has to go back to surgery. We knew there was a chance that this surgery might not work and they would have to do a more complex surgery, but they NEVER once mentioned that the shunt they were placing may be placed wrong and they would have to go back in and do more surgery to fix it. I'm just not very happy with this whole experience
Dr Greene is caring and thoughtful while also being extraordinarily skilled. She is able to give you not great news in a manner that makes you feel she truly cares and gives you plenty of facts to educate you on your child's condition.
dr green and her staff were wonderful to deal with from the start. she not only explained everything to us...she made sure my child understood.
very smart and helpful! felt fully taken care of
She is the best neurosurgeon. She saved my life and gave me a future!
Dr. Green is wonderful and always makes me feel comfortable with what is going on with my child. The PA's are also wonderful at answering questions.
Our provider has been great. She explains things and takes the child/parents concerns into consideration. My son had surgery and we ask a lot of unusual questions, they always get back to us quickly.
We waited 2 hours past our appointment time.
Dr. Greene and her team are wonderful. She is so nice and very understanding. She is very thorough, easy to talk to and always gives us the opportunity to ask questions.
Dr. Greene is awesome!!
she was great answered every questions we had and comforted us.
Dr. Greene is a pleasure to work with regarding my child's health. Even when the radiology department took forever to complete the MRI we had scheduled, going over our scheduled appointment with Dr. Greene, she managed to fit us in with a relatively short wait.
Good - Dr. Greene was very informative and helpful regarding our concerns. Fortunately she also had good news for us. Bad - Wait times, both in the waiting room and in the exam room. We had an appointment, but it was scheduled only one day ahead.
They were extremely helpful and understanding of my child's medical needs.
Everyone was very prompt in returning calls and scheduling the appointment. All staff were very professional and kind. It was a very good experience.
Dr. Greene is an amazing doctor. love her work and kind heart.
we were sent to Children's by a provider in my son's pediatric group. we were very worried prior to this appointment because no one could tell us what was wrong. They made it seem like life or death. D. Greene however was very calm explained everything clearly and we left with the confidence knowing what was wrong with our son. thankfully he will be fine. Dr. Greene also took the time to ask other providers/interns in the office to look at my son because his condition is very rare. In her 15 years shes only seen a hand full of cases. this touched me because through my son and her efforts to teach more providers will be aware of the condition and will be better able to serve patients.
my appt was for 11 am and we were put in an exam room on time. we then waited, 2 hrs and ten minutes to see Dr Greene. No one came in and told us she had an emergency. Everyone went to lunch and we felt we were forgotten about as we sat waiting over 2 hrs after driving over 3 hours to see Dr Greene. needless to say, we were upset. No one was concerned that maybe we wanted to go get lunch too. I feel that the situation was handled very wrong.
she barely spent five minutes with my daughter, she didn't examine her at all... and said very little to me. we were just in for a yearly visit, but I'd still like more than a pass through from the doctor.
dr Greene is wonderful and has been extremely helpful with my child care and well being
We waited a very long time to see the doctor...nearly an hour past our appointment time
Everyone at UPMC was very helpful and friendly, from the check-in receptionist to the check-out. Everyone made my daughter feel at ease.
Dr Greene is very humble. She doesn't show any rush and takes time to explain things very well and give an opportunity to ask questions
it is nice to know that we were able to clear up our concerns about our son at a top notch medical faciliy. the appoinment was worth it
Everyone we interacted with at our appointment was very helpful and concerned about our sons health and treatment. Dr. Green and her PA were both very thorough and informative. they answered all of my questions and provided me an explanation of what would happen for future care for my son.
Dr. Green is outstanding! My family loves her! She's extremely knowledgeable & capable! We trust her judgement & we're grateful to have such a skilled, yet kind neurosurgeon for our daughter! She's kind, patient & always seems genuinely concerned! Dr. Greene is the best in our eyes!
Dr. Greene and her PA Katie were very kind and thorough with my son.
I was a little disappointed with the wait time, though I understand that medical offices become backed up due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies, but it was very frustrating that she wasn't seen for an hour after her scheduled time. We were also not informed by the scheduler that she was supposed to get a CT Scan. I was unable to get the test done at the time due to my work schedule, so this will be another trip to Children's and we live an hour away. Again, I completely understand that sometimes a wait time can't be helped.
We felt that we were treated with respect and received expert medical care.
