Very good experience. Dr. Green took the time to listen to our concerns and provided detailed explanation in regards to the treatment of his condition.
We had a great experience with this office prior to, during, and after my sons surgery. I would highly recommend using Dr. Greene and her team.
everyone we met was great and very helpful
The appointment was made for 8am, with Dr Green. Was called day before saying it was pushed back to 8:30. Dr Green never came into the exam room to.see my son. Her assistant saw him. All she said to her assistant was telling the dad see you in 2 years. We've never had this happen in the 11 years we've been coming to Children's. If I make an appointment with a Dr in feel we should be able to have 5 minutes of their time. Not just an assistant. The main dr needs to also attend the appointment. that is why appointments are made.
Dr. Greene is the best! She's extremely smart, kind & caring! She always makes us feel that she's genuinely concerned about our daughter. We feel so blessed to have our daughter in her care!
Dr. Greene is excellent. Very thorough and answered all of our questions. She was also friendly and engaged very well with our daughter.
she was friendly, however I don't think she took my child's symptoms seriously.
Dr Greene is amazing! not only does she listen to your concerns, but explains everything so you understand. she is always friendly
DR Greene had an excellent bedside manner. She listened to all of our questions and concerns. She gave us the good and bad information straight forward. She was honest, yet caring and compassionate to both me and my 15 year old daughter.
I feel as the doctor was very knowledgeable about what she was talking about but feel i was left pretty much clueless and very undecided about a decision i had to make about my child's health. We had to choose between 2 surgeries and it was the hardest decision i ever had to make. Wish we could have discussed it more. When it came down to it i picked the surgery i thought would be easier for my child. Now I'm doubting myself because the surgery is done but it isn't right and my son has to go back to surgery. We knew there was a chance that this surgery might not work and they would have to do a more complex surgery, but they NEVER once mentioned that the shunt they were placing may be placed wrong and they would have to go back in and do more surgery to fix it. I'm just not very happy with this whole experience
I am forever grateful for Dr. Greene and all of the UPMC Childrens staff for saving my sons life.
Dr Greene is caring and thoughtful while also being extraordinarily skilled. She is able to give you not great news in a manner that makes you feel she truly cares and gives you plenty of facts to educate you on your child's condition.
dr green and her staff were wonderful to deal with from the start. she not only explained everything to us...she made sure my child understood.
very smart and helpful! felt fully taken care of
She is the best neurosurgeon. She saved my life and gave me a future!
Dr. Green is wonderful and always makes me feel comfortable with what is going on with my child. The PA's are also wonderful at answering questions.
Our provider has been great. She explains things and takes the child/parents concerns into consideration. My son had surgery and we ask a lot of unusual questions, they always get back to us quickly.
We waited 2 hours past our appointment time.
Dr. Greene and her team are wonderful. She is so nice and very understanding. She is very thorough, easy to talk to and always gives us the opportunity to ask questions.
Dr. Greene is awesome!!
she was great answered every questions we had and comforted us.
Dr. Greene is a pleasure to work with regarding my child's health. Even when the radiology department took forever to complete the MRI we had scheduled, going over our scheduled appointment with Dr. Greene, she managed to fit us in with a relatively short wait.
Good - Dr. Greene was very informative and helpful regarding our concerns. Fortunately she also had good news for us. Bad - Wait times, both in the waiting room and in the exam room. We had an appointment, but it was scheduled only one day ahead.
They were extremely helpful and understanding of my child's medical needs.
Everyone was very prompt in returning calls and scheduling the appointment. All staff were very professional and kind. It was a very good experience.
Dr. Greene is an amazing doctor. love her work and kind heart.
we were sent to Children's by a provider in my son's pediatric group. we were very worried prior to this appointment because no one could tell us what was wrong. They made it seem like life or death. D. Greene however was very calm explained everything clearly and we left with the confidence knowing what was wrong with our son. thankfully he will be fine. Dr. Greene also took the time to ask other providers/interns in the office to look at my son because his condition is very rare. In her 15 years shes only seen a hand full of cases. this touched me because through my son and her efforts to teach more providers will be aware of the condition and will be better able to serve patients.
my appt was for 11 am and we were put in an exam room on time. we then waited, 2 hrs and ten minutes to see Dr Greene. No one came in and told us she had an emergency. Everyone went to lunch and we felt we were forgotten about as we sat waiting over 2 hrs after driving over 3 hours to see Dr Greene. needless to say, we were upset. No one was concerned that maybe we wanted to go get lunch too. I feel that the situation was handled very wrong.
she barely spent five minutes with my daughter, she didn't examine her at all... and said very little to me. we were just in for a yearly visit, but I'd still like more than a pass through from the doctor.
