I felt as though the doctor was very much so out of line in the way she discussed my daughters BMI. she has always been at the top of the growth chart. she is tall, thin, very active and not overweight. the doctor went as far to order blood work for cholesterol for her. I was completely taken aback and did not want to push it further in front of my daughter. society is constantly telling us to not shame girls and women about the way they look, yet a heathy 10 year old girls is made to feel bad for the way she looks in a doctors office. my daughter had so many questions leaving there and one of them was " mom, does the doctor think I'm fat?"
We love Dr. Kapp!
Dr. Kapp was very patient with my son and listened to any concerns I had.
Dr. Kapp was very good with my son. She is very personable and easy to talk to!
This was our first visit with this provider (walk in hours) and I liked her very much!
all the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful
Great provider! Glad I found her.
Dr. Kapp was very authentic and showed genuine concern, as if it were her own child. Very much appreciated!
love all the staff there. they are always excellent
we waited 45 mins for the Dr to arrive in our roomDr questioned twice about mosquito bites on my child's face, as if he hit his head, after I explained twice they were healing bug bites. Her response was "you know you can put hydrocortisone on itchy bug bites". Really? I obviously care for my children and their comfort level, as we had medicine on them at that time.Just not warm and fuzzy, my oldest child was bothered by her lack of promptness, too.first time we ever experienced this...
She was a very nice doctor that listened to me with my concerns. I would highly recommended her to others.
I felt that the way that Dr. Kapp handled my daughters situation was not appropriate. I understand that my daughter had wax in her ears but digging at them for 15 minutes while she was screaming and crying was uncalled for. I feel as though it should not take that long to complete this process(as I've had it done with my daughter in the past). Also, I feel that the doctor should have taken notice to my daughters behavior and tried a different approach as she was clearly upset.
We have been very happy with the staff since our visit.
Dr. Kapp is a wonderful provider. She is great with children of all ages and is very thorough in her examinations.
Dr Kapp was excellent and personable.
the doctor had no idea what was going on with my daughter. We were told it was hand foot and mouth which it definitely was not. now we have no idea what is going on with het
the doctor was very nice and knowledgeable
Dr. Kapp is a gem! Sydney is always smiling and so pleasant to have caring for my daughter. Her bedside mannerisms and genuine kindness is always on point and very much appreciated! Thank you, Dr. Kapp!
Our experience with Dr. Kapp has been great. I am really glad she joined the practice and plan on having all my children see her.
Dr. Kapp was fantastic. Very thorough exam. She explained everything VERY well. I really appreciate all she had to share.
We waited 50 minutes once in room for MD to come in. It would have been nice if someone checked in on us and acknowledged the delay and let us know it would be a little longer, etc.
she wAs very friendly and helpful
This care provider saw our son for the first time to removal a staple in his head from an injury. She was very gentle and kind with him.
I love our pediatricians. I was excited to meet her. I know she's only been working there for a month, but she is a fabulous addition to the office I already love and trust with my 3 children's care.
We always have a wonderful time and experience at this office
