Brief Summary of Lecture: Dr. Feranchak will discuss the genetic basis for cystic fibrosis and the resultant abnormalities in ion transport. He will describe the incidence, pathogenesis, and natural history of cystic fibrosis. He will highlight important discoveries for cystic fibrosis research.
