Brief Summary of Lecture:
Dr. Oliva-Hemker's lecture will highlight understanding the rationale for using biologics in the therapeutic management of IBD. She will identify the currently available biologic agents for treating IBD and their mechanisms of action, and discuss the risks and benefits of biologic therapies.
