Brief Summary of Lecture: Dr. Shaw will discuss early childhood risk factors for children's conduct problems and a preventative intervention developed to address child, family, and community risk factors for young children living in poverty - the Family Check-Up. Findings from two randomized controlled trials examining the Family Check-Up will be reviewed, followed by a summary of implementation efforts being conducted in the Pittsburgh community.
