Brief Summary of Lecture: For many children suffering from end stage lung disease lung transplantation provides hope for a longer, better life. This lecture is intended to provide a broad overview of the field including: indications and contradictions to lung transplant, potential complications, and an introduction to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s effort to improve the lung transplant journey and long-term outcomes for people with end stage lung disease.
