“Pediatric Nursing: What’s Now? What’s Next?”

This national pediatric nursing conference is an excellent opportunity to share your best practice initiative, research project, or provide continuing education as it relates current pediatric issues. The conference offers participants breakout sessions highlighting clinical projects, education, and research studies.

Call for Abstracts

Abstract submissions should be limited to one 8 ½ x 11 page, single spaced, and in either Times New Roman or Arial 12 font. List all authors with primary presenter first. Most oral presentations are 20-25 minutes in length followed by a 5-10 minute question and answer session. In addition to the oral presentations there will be a 60 minute poster viewing session as part of the overall program.

Abstracts must include:

  • Title
  • Purpose
  • One learning objective
  • Concise summary of content, project, or problem
  • Outcomes as applicable
  • Implications for pediatric nursing practice

Abstracts will also be rated for how they relate to a conference objective. Conference objectives are:

  • Advance nursing care through expanding an understanding of the holistic patient and family experience
  • Characterize societal and cultural differences as they impact pediatric patient care
  • Apply the latest innovations to nursing care of the pediatric population


Deadline for abstract submission is March 15, 2019. Acceptance notices will be sent via email by April 1, 2019. Complete the abstract submission form.
