A History of Transplant Excellence, A Future of Innovation

Optum Spotlight Conference Wednesday, May 18 to Thursday, May 19, 2016
Pittsburgh Marriott City Center
Pittsburgh, Pa.

Join us for this two-day conference, presented by clinical experts from UPMC Transplant Services, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, and UPMC CancerCenter — in what many call the birthplace of modern transplantation — as we reflect on more than 30 years of experience and innovation in transplant care.

This conference will provide attendees with invaluable knowledge as to how the clinical teams at UPMC have progressed through the last three decades with regard to critical findings in immunosuppression management and new therapies and procedures to treat acute and chronic diseases. Additionally, participants may take advantage of this opportunity to learn firsthand from leaders in the fields of transplantation and cancer research as they divulge the future landscape of novel treatment options.

Specialists will share in-depth knowledge of live-donor transplantation, immunosuppression optimization, transplant-related challenges, bridges to transplant via VAD and ECMO, intestinal rehabilitation and transplantation, and more.
