Critical Care

Residents in the Critical Care Pathway meet with co-residents and faculty to help prepare for a career in a critical care subspecialty. These include Emergency Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Neonatology. The residents in this pathway will have the opportunity acquire mentorship from a faculty member in their specific subspecialty. Through these mentor-mentee relationships, residents will develop a strategy for planning the 6 months of individualized curriculum, work through a meaningful scholarly project and get assistance in the preparation for applying to a critical care subspecialty fellowship. Noon conferences will blend speakers and topics beneficial to all pediatric residents with case based discussions and critical care specific educational sessions.
