Key Components
- Global health lectures and discussions on clinical and research topics
- Arrange an international elective rotation during the PL-2 and/or PL-3 years
- Faculty mentoring for preparation for an international elective
- Annual Pediatric Global Health Symposium that highlights speakers on global health and residents’ experiences abroad
Recent Resident Rotations
- Shoulder to Shoulder, San Jose Honduras
- Organization Superemos, Esteli, Nicaragua
- Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility, Indian Health Service, Chinle, Arizona
- Rural Mississippi Delta Region, Mound Bayou, MS
2020-2021 Update: Due to the current COVID-19 global health emergency, international rotations will not be available this academic year. Rotations through the Indian Health Services will be considered, if possible.
