Child Neurology Didactics and Conference Schedule

Our didactics curriculum consists of core concepts which are presented both longitudinally and in block periods. Longitudinal themes include neuroanatomy, clinical case-based learning, EMG, and board review. Clinical blocks address focused neurological topics (e.g. stroke, white matter disease, neonatal neurology, headache, etc.) and are presented through relevant lectures, clinical simulation vignettes, and hands-on experiences during the academic year. We also incorporate a research curriculum, which includes sessions addressing relevant topics such as journal clubs, mock grant and article review sessions, and resident research presentations.

In addition, we have multiple weekly standing topic-driven conferences, including ones targeted for difficult clinical cases, EEG and Epilepsy Surgical cases, and neuroradiology.
